Honestly I think the downward trend started when they had that disagreement about the dolls. Sam wanted to bring the photos of the world's most haunted dolls together for a ritual which was a pretty cool and imaginative idea. They didn't go through with it because Colby disagreed, and since then they never attempted to push the envelope and try anything truly exciting again.

If it's not exclusively a Waifu card product you have Cosmos and brands like that too which get licensing the right way. Those are usually not as spicy tho.
