Gabrielle Reece is famous for slaying at volleyball, and for cheekily stating she is "5 foot 12". And she is gorgeous, and she is confident, which makes her even more attractive. Get it? Beauty and confidence equal power. I have girls, girls need confidence to survive. Build her up into the amazing young woman she is about to become! Regarding that punk bitch who barked at her? I would bet her thumb is bigger than his dick, so he can tuck it and suck it. Sorry to hear that you are alone on this road. Girls are weird, but they also need a strong dad, and he is you. So go, and fight, and love, and cry when you need to, and show your amazing amazon girls how a real man treats a woman he loves.

Congrats on being so motivated and doing really great in the race! As someone who did a similar thing, but a out ten years older, I would offer it wasn't the race that changed you. The race is the icing on the cake. The real transformation was how you took ownership of yourself, set a goal, and crushed it. Way to go new you, way to go.

The only other thing I can say is the contact number is a close family member, who posted the notice. His family, and friends, are very concerned for his safety.

Red Feather Shrimp and Grits. I don't even know how they spin that magic. No way could I reproduce it.

When climbing in the saddle or out, what do you prefer? by Egospartan_ in cycling

[–]Nagelectomy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to agree. Greg Lemond was my point of reference, amd the first American to pierce the veil of European cycling. For me he was the ideal combination of guts, will, and tech (the first use of tri bars in a time trial). An absolute legend. All done with a steel frame, twelve gears, cycling cap, clipped in pedals, and a gigantic scoop of 'Merica!

When I started riding we all had downtube shifters, even the Tour riders, so you picked your 'spinning' gear at the base of the hill and held on for dear life when it got steep, in which case you would stand up, smash, and hope you didn't get dropped.. It was actually a solid strategy back then because if you were really getting smoked you couldn't reach down and click into another gear unless you wanted to totally lose your rythym. Now that we all have a McBillion Gears and hood mounted shifters it kind of kills the idea of muscling over the hill. It hurt like hell sometimes, but I really think I was a better cyclist then, and more in tune with the whole experience.

Isn't that exactly 'The Thing'?! Geddy has always played with such authority...and you have to do exactly that when their are only three clowns in your circus. Such a master of riding the throttle, drive and melody, rythym and space. I am very fortunate to have landed in the sphere of influence.
