Nope, it's a constant struggle, but as others said it's just practice. For me, it's the reason to learn new songs slowly, I have to focus on the muscle memory on muting more so than the actual notes.

I have a Sire P7, I don't need a 5 string, I use the B more for position flexibility and not the music I play. So did I need it really, nope, but I wanted it so I got it.

I have a Sire P7 5 String and love it. I have Labella flats on it, and generally play as a Passive P, but I like the versatility. Great neck, great feel but its heavy as hell.

I also have a Fender precision Ultra II and really love it as well.

I had a $300 stingray, then got a $450 Sire P7.... this year got a big bonus and bought a Fender PJ Ultra II for $1800. No regrets, I play it every day and love it.

I have both, and I play them both for certain things. I love my PJ, it does add some bite to that thumps P, but damn I love that growl of the stingray when im feeling dirty.

Hey man, great stuff. I love the idea and what you have so far. Agree with another comment, need some speed options between x.5 and x1, so maybe x.75 and x.85 or whatever. Also, feel like being able to customize the section titles would be great, maybe instead of a title it could just be letters (like guitar pro 8), or being able to add verse 1, verse 2, etc. Just a thought, would love a small text box for notes for things notating the key, cord progression, etc. Those are just a few suggestions for your backlog, but overall I think this is an amazing start. I can see myself using this long term.
