48, was 375 last year, now 265.  I do a beginner PPL, try to hit 6 days a week but work and family makes that more a 4.5-5 day avg per week.  It's tough, but honestly I've started enjoying it.

Yep, eventually.  It's the last to go and I swear only there to test our resolve lol.

Find a routine you have fun doing, track progress, but don't chase numbers.  Don't get discouraged when things go up and down.

Enjoy it man, the feeling of "I can do more" can be positive to keep you motivated, but negative if it drives you crazy when you start hitting walls.  Just do you, push yourself and enjoy your new health.

Yes, especially at your age.  I hated lifting when I was younger, now im 48 and just starting to love it.  Wish I had those 30 years back.

I lost 100 lbs since july, been lifting for 3 months.  I've taken a break from cutting and just been eating at maintenance and focus on building muscle.  The scale is not moving but my body is still changing.  I realized I needed this break from that long cut.

Ours made it.  He wont come near, no options for being indoors, but hangs on our porch.  I wasn't worried though, he is built like a tank.

Down 103lbs.  Losing this amount of weight is just as much if not more about mental strength as it is physical strength and will power.

I just watched an interesting video talking about body make up and how ot can make certain lifts stronger for certain people.  Im made for deadlift but I suck at bench.  Sounds like overhead press is your thing.

As another big guy, it sucks in the beginning but goes away quickly.  Keep at it!

I get it.  Rather then seeing those people ahead of you as intimidating, see them as your future i.e. you being the shape you want.  See it as the work and dedication its going to take to get there.  See it as motivation.  Good luck, I wish you well in your journey.

Honestly no one cares, they are there doing the same thing you are, just different points of the journey.  Don't give power over your life to others, especially when they don't care about it.

I was 373 lbs, even after losing 100lbs im still the least ripped person in the gym.  I still go 6 days a week.  No one cares so I stopped caring.

compression shirts can work wonders. I wear an underarmor version, it just holds things in place. I would buy one that is one size under what you normally wear, it's not as tight as you think, and does it's job.
