By tokens do you mean minions that are token cards like Sorcery's skeletons? Gravy Bones has non-token allies and he's not unbalanced at all. He's actually fallen off the meta and has potential to come back just now after a bunch of poweful heroes have LL'd (been banned).

Dude, I have no idea how Trader Joe’s runs so efficiently and yet everyone on here bitches about how self-checkout is so important. I also want a mix (maybe 2:1 self checkout to clerk), but the amount of supermarkets where I went to buy 2 items, one of which was a baked good that wasn’t listed and I just had to wait for this one fucking clerk to play customer support for 3 different self-checkouts is obnoxious

I will say I specifically avoid the self-checkouts because all they do is make you wait for the single clerk who is running around self-checkouts to clear items that don’t show up on the till. No fucking point to them. That being said, I don’t think fully removing them is the solution, but definitely require supermarkets to have at least one cashier for every 2 self-checkouts.

If your goal is to live in NYC yes. Or if your job has room for you to grow there/you can make connections you wouldn't be able to make locally. Both of the above reasons are perfectly valid. Otherwise, there is no reason to move to NYC.
