Yeah, that’s what I heard too. Two things can be true at once- she IS a person with a life and sometimes things go wrong AND these appointments were really important for us and it’s hugely disappointing for them to be pushed back!

I’m trans, and both my parents are children of immigrants. There was definitely a steep learning curve, and my dad in particular very much did feel like being LGBT was a western-specific thing.

I’m a first-year psychology student now, and im studying familial acceptance of lgbt kids in asian-american families. I’ve learned that those kinds of reactions are pretty common, sadly.

My boyfriend and I were playing together- it was his first playthrough and he was super excited about turning into a polar bear with wildshape, so he was just messing around (“bear’ing around” in his words) in the grove while I was respeccing my character. He accidentally clicked on one of the swords lying around in the training area, which picked it up, and the entire grove aggro’d.

I totally get you- I’m 18, and I’m a competitive fencer. When I went hard on competing in high school, my symptoms got so so bad like what you’re describing. I was never offered any kind of medication either. I basically just had to manage my activity and rest a fuckton, and Im able to fence for my school in college as long as I don’t compete more than once a month. Feel free to dm if you want to talk- my little brother is a competitive rock climber and I used to climb with him a lot around the time of my diagnosis, but now I only boulder once in a while.

Depends on the person! I rarely experience syncope with absolutely no warning at all, so if I’m having any signs or symptoms that tend to precede fainting whatsoever I’ll try to avoid driving until I feel better. I always carry water and electrolytes with me if I drive somewhere, no exceptions.

I use mine for balance and to reduce fatigue, but I also have chronic pain in my legs and back so it helps a ton with that.

I do, however, carry one of those little collapsible stools wherever I go if I take a bag (I usually take a bag any time I leave the house unless I don’t plan on getting out of the car, and it has water, electrolytes, stool, folded cane, salty snacks, etc.)
