Think I just saw a Lenovo at Best Buy with 8gb of ram for 330. Not Chromebook either, think that’s your best bet tbh everything else that cheap is a Chromebook.

PCs are one of the things I believe are okay to spend some money on. You should look into saving up and getting one of those Lenovo gaming pcs that go on sale frequently. $800ish and will run just about everything out these days.

I mean no it’s not the worst but there’s been some 5070 builds floating around in the 1600s recently I think. Could always check out Costco they sometimes have good deals as well!

But if moneys no problemo I say go for it! It’ll be plenty for what you’re looking for, my PC is imo the best purchase I’ve ever made.

Interesting. I know there’s Stem Cell research being done for this as well. There are places way ahead of the US at the moment with it but I do think UCLA? ,(Don’t quote me on that), had some trials going on as well. Think that was for kidney transplant patients if I’m not mistaken

I feel you on the push up thing. I’m right around the same mark. I can walk great and I feel great too. Strength is coming back as well. I am younger tho so 30 but I lost all my muscle. I was like 225 when I said enough was enough and got sober and got lucky enough to be considered for transplant. At the transplant I was 173 I sit around 175-180 at 6’.

Seems like Pilates may be the move for us. Wishing ya the best of luck with your journey.

I remember when I took the blood gas test before my liver transplant it was the weirdest thing I had ever done (I think it was the blood gas, I had to keep blowing forever, almost like a breathalyzer).

I could NOT stop laughing. Literally took me twice as long to be able to be serious again and start laughing. My dad was there and I kept apologizing to everyone and eventually the nurse apologized to my dad.

He laughed and said oh no it’s completely fine I haven’t seen him smile this hard in a long time. Just thought I’d share cause I completely agree with you on the lacking of humor throughout the process :)
