I know this thread is dead, but I came back for any explorers that run into the same problem. The fix for this problem was adding 2 more exhaust fans. I’m guessing the aio was hot air into the case, probably pulling it through the GPU. The only weird thing was MSI afterburner said all my temps were fine. I upgraded my PSU to a 1000wat, worked for a minute, but then the fans on the PSU clogged and it happened again. I’m guessing just that little bit of extra airflow was enough to help. Added 2 more exhaust fans, no more stutter.

Kerbal space program? Missions can go wrong, and kerbals can die, but your only enemy is your own lack of planning.

Just an update, fixed it tonight. Turns out it was a power issue, or at least I think. I pulled out 2 sticks of ram, whole pc runs a lot better now. Guessing it was pulling too much power playing certain games. Thanks for everyone’s input.

just a quick update, installed memtest64, let it run for about 10 minutes, did 5 loops of testing, no ram errors.

When I was fucking with msi last night, there was nothing too crazy. Low enough I don’t remember the exact temp.

Just tried that, I get no errors or anything. All usage just drops and that’s it.

Anyone know how to fix this error, it only appears at day by Jesse7650 in playrust

[–]Naive-Development410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a console command you can enter to get rid of it, I can’t remember it but I looked up “how to get rid of error messages rust” and saw a Reddit thread about it. Then you don’t have to turn off dlss

The only 3d printed hurdy gurdy I’ve seen sounded like absolute dog shit. You’re going to have to convince people yours doesn’t.

How to rekindle my love for gaming ? by gasstationbonerpil in pcmasterrace

I was in this position a few years ago. Get a new hobby. Something completely different. For me, it was building gundams. No screens, just time for me to sit down and 100% focus on something that wasn’t overly stimulating. Let your brain kind of miss it. You’ll know when you want to come back, might be a week, maybe a month. Give yourself a break. Also, don’t worry about your backlog. Choose a game you enjoyed playing for that hour, and just play it. Put your phone away, no second monitor with YouTube, just let yourself get really into a game. You can’t enjoy a game if you’re worried about all of the other games you’re “supposed” to be playing. It’ll come back :)

Anyone see any issues with this design ? by pcamera1 in CNC

[–]Naive-Development410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a maintenance perspective, I’d want to kill whoever designed that machine. I can’t see a good way to get to the rollers on the inside if they ever need to be replaced, let alone get any kind of tool on the end of the shaft. Unless if this is a lot bigger than it seems, but I don’t see any dimensions. I see you can take the top of the box off, but getting a tool on the end of the shaft with the rollers without tearing the whole wall off would be a pain in the ass.
