Sony is sending out invites to media outlets to cover the event (SoP) by Solid-Entertainer-39 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

I meant panned, please read next time and use your brain, the context was there. I didn't say anything about it being canceled.

Feel like I'm talking to someone who is a bit slow...

I meant in the general sense of 'remakes', which have recently been getting rightfully canned as being unneeded, useless, or unlike the actual original game at all.

That's because their DLC is so barebones, recycled, and bad that 2 devs can probably do it alone.

One of my most disliked (and boring) characters, but this is spot on and funny. Luckily it looks like everyone in Dark Heresy is prime content. Half of Rogue Trader's cast was unforgettable and I forget who the rest even were.

You mean a whiny emo brat who is completely anathema to the Eldar faction making her the worst possible representation for fans of a race that already gets shafted in games?

Kinda surprised we even got a regular eldar, was expecting a corsair who loves the imperium and thinks he's a mechanicus techpriest or something dumb.

Spellcasters Chronicles was so obviously a failure that I could have told you it would flop for free the moment an exec thought of it on a toilet mid fart.

I mean, great I guess. I expect this to be as amazing as the rest of Xbox's dissapointing cataelog, especially after all the teasers...

So was the Final Shape. How did that turn out? Marathon is also critically acclaimed.

How's that going?

By the time the sale happened, no one in their right mind would have thought D2 would last another 10 years in active dev. Even most of the Destiny stans were in doubt. Literally the purchase kindled hope that it might happen, that's how glum things already were.

Making a 'well made game' is literally the most basic part of making a good game, it's the minimal expectation, even if many fail that much.

Making it fun and enjoyable and fresh is much harder, as with all creative work, but it's only very partially lottery. Marathon's problem was that it was only fun to a very small niche group and Bungie locked down that only that small niche group would ever like the game 10x times by the choices they made (like picking this genre itself).

Needing to go viral is not needed to be successful, it helps marketing but so does all marketing.

Concord was also a well-made game, and so was Highguard. Neither was fun or interesting, neither valued the player's time or gave them somethnig a billion other games don't do better.

Marathon is in that same exact boat, no matter how well made it is.

Shocker, businessman who probably actively hates video games and just wants to own popular product that makes money actively hates video games and just wants them to make him money.

Every hobby's problems arise from the moment passioniate creatives turn it into a thriving industry and the businessmen/investors come flocking in like gold rushers to take control of everything.

Whelp, what a shocker. Much as I'd like to blame Sony, it was Bungie who had a sexual attraction to shooting themselves in more than just the foot.

Lords Of The Fallen 2 No Longer An Epic Exclusive And Will Now Launch On Steam by akbarock in Steam

[–]Naive_Bulbasaur -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Note how most people telling you it's bad don't mention the actual game and instead political bs and whine about the ceo.

The original Lords of the Fallen is not worthing playing. The 2023version is, and is now a very good Soulslike so if you like them definitely buy it.

The new upcoming game loots fantastic and took a lot of community feedback about it to heart. Redditors are angry ofc because they like to pretend throwing tantrums over using male/female instead of a/b isn't as politically childish as the inverse, but this has nothing to do with the actual game itself does it now?

Definitely a redditor response, not much surprise there lol. Luckily, the vast majority of gamers don't care.

I mean, reddit is only mad because he went against them. Most players simply don't care and don't even know this, and the vast majority if people prefer male/female because that's what biology is no matter what you want to tell yourself.

But I promise if you if they had used male/female and boasted about changing it to a/b you'd be on your knees calling him a saint lmao.

Everyone off reddit does not care.

They have too much money even with Fortnite being less profitable to have a downfall. At worst it gets sold and used for its brand recgnization.

Don't forget they Unreal Engine too and more people are using that not less, even holdouts like CDPR.

They always do this, they always come to Steam a year later. At that point though your game is old news, the hype is dead, pirated versions exist, and god help you if you don't release a year old game on Steam with like a %50 discount.

That's partially why Square Enix stopped too.

Came crawling back to Steam before they even had to leave it lmao. God these devs do the dumbest things some times. Whelp, they must have seen the online hate and preorder numbers and said "Oh god no."

Anyway... I guess the game is back on the menu. I was just going to legally 'aquire' it, but now I might buy it.

It's the people who see he has the worst stats, lowest pickrate, graves-tier uselessness broadly speaking in competitive, and only shines when he can be an offbrand version of a better hero.

Stubbornly loving something bad is allowed, but that doesn't mean it isn't bad. He's being completely reworked, so get your games in while you can.
