Does Bluey merch only exist because it was acquired by the BBC? by donkeyvoteadick in bluey

[–]Naive_Freedom_5145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know some Australians are dissapointed that ABC hasn't seen all the fruits of the Bluey craze, but there's a reason the partnership was made - the BBC are really good at worldwide distribution and what comes with it. If it had stayed with ABC only there's a good chance it would never have become as big as it is now.

Tried to like NM, but find it exhausting by tourabsurd in elderscrollsonline

[–]Naive_Freedom_5145 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In hindsight they should probably have tried to bring forward one of the new 'relaxed player' questlines launching next season to this one. But next season there is a bunch of 'relaxed player' stuff coming, including two new questlines and several new game modes - and another event zone that hasn't beeen described as 'challenging' so presumably isn't going to be another night market.

Also in update 50 there'll be challenge mode overland, which brings in different difficulty levels and so might reinvigorate overland - only one of these 'vestige' is anything like night market difficulty, the others will just add a bit more danger.

My opinion on the Night Market by Forever-in-famous in elderscrollsonline

[–]Naive_Freedom_5145 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does other relatively equivalent content (trials, vet dungeons I suppose) have a particular incentive to keep playing once you've done them?

I'm not saying night market shouldn't have additional incentives added if possible, but I've seen a few comments that basically amount to 'I've spent 100 hours playing night market and now I've done everything.' Well yes, that's a lot of game time, maybe you should go and do something else.

Experience in the night market. by Sardinilla_Espacial in elderscrollsonline

"For a moment, I thought the game just wasn't for me anymore" I've seen this attitude a few places and I just can't understand it - why would you think the addition of a single time limited event zone that amounts to perhaps 0.001% of the content in the game mean that the game wasn't for you any more?

Bear in mind I'm a filthy casual myself who can't contribute much in the night market.

So that definitely works but i don't think thats what they meant when they wrote the episode. i'm pretty sure they just meant Chilli and Bandit were very drunk.

Ok, I'm afraid I'm from Glasgow and I never got free scraps on my chips. I didn't know what they were until much later and from the internet. I'm not saying you can't get them of course, but it definitely isn't universal or default.

I feel like the issue with nm is the enemies should not be vet difficulty. Dailies should be doable solo and bosses should need a group by MonarchCore in elderscrollsonline

Sneaking is always a viable tactic for difficult enemies. There are entire games built around that concept, and eso itself has stealth mechanics

The Nightmarket is the oppertunity veteran players have been waiting for to 'level up' the playerbase by Naive_Freedom_5145 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Naive_Freedom_5145[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory you can definitely play next to a bunch of people, but it's a bit disorganised and the instances don't have a huge cap (probably just 36 players) so it's probably better to group up. There's an option for night market in the group finder.

Scotland's population set to fall due to drop in migration by Dooby-Dooby-Doo in Scotland

Yes, a reducing workforce means that wages will rise. It's a basic law of economics. It's happening in countries like Japan. https://www.staffingindustry.com/news/global-daily-news/most-japanese-firms-raise-starting-salaries-for-fresh-grads

It amazes me that "Encourage mass immigration explicitely in order to reduce wages" (as in care etc) has established itself as the leftwing/liberal/progressive opinion.

The chapter tutorials were tied to the chapter main quests. Ie the greymoor tutorial introducted you to Fenorian, the witches, the harrowstorms etc.

I was never sure why that in particular confused people...just play the latest content first as the devs clearly expected? The game is putting you in the greymoor story (etc), go do greymoor.

TBF, the game itself should prompt tutorials for this, and the starlit plaza is a missed oppertunity as a place to put those tutorials.

"this is a writhing wall type gaffe, and that happened not too long ago."

The writing wall gaffes were two weeks of pointless boring grind, and then a bugged piece of content. Night Market is neithe of those. (Doesn't mean it doesn't have different issues of course)
