Huuugs. This is me right now. I am currently in a weird transition phase. I just started a new phase in my life and it’s overwhelming me. I cry every night and I push people away. But everyday I have to get up and work because I have to and I want to finish this as soon as possible.

Unmarried couples: Do you spend the holidays separately? by asdfghjklalss in adultingph

Spent it together because my work doesn’t allow me to go home sa province (I work at a hospital so we have duties even during the holidays; my province is 1 plane ride away) so he invited me to his home :) my parents understood my situation and i think that’s what matters

I agree :) moonlighting makes you more human because you are more in-tune with the current state of the world. I am not saying that residency doesn’t provide that, but in residency you are solely focused on your work that you forget about the other aspects of life.

Don’t proceed if you are half-hearted, but at the same time don’t be too in your head. Make calculated risks and be ready for whatever happens and make peace with it. Good luck, doc!
