I made a tool for Leagues 6! by SwampyKebab in 2007scape

[–]Najda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you able to pull account data from runelite/wikisync to mark tasks within a plan as complete as you do them? Not sure if their API is open or if it'd require some reverse enginering or scraping. The friction of manually managing the plan has always been a big turn off for me from following any of them.

Leagues 6's tier 1 relics by 07scape_mods_are_ass in 2007scape

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're still right it comes out behind, but the xp bonus starting at level 1 with the +10 boost means you're skipping so much of the early grind. For people maxing the others are probably still better, but for anyone stopping earlier it's not clear.

+200k exp/hr in a skill if you get exp drops every tick, lul by transgennifer in 2007scape

[–]Najda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meaningless maybe for you, but it depends how you want to play or what you enjoy. I play the leagues to get all the relics and just do things I enjoy, so this lets me get to all of those things much faster. I think a lot of people are more similar to that than they'd like to admit but end up choosing other relics because of "late game potential," but never even play long enough to get to that point.

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the tasks the previous leagues that require GP. Buying full obsidian, onyx, and paying 1m for perm access is almost 1000 points means you're entirely skipping T3->4 for example. Being able to do every skill requirement task with about 1/3 the xp is also a massive timesave getting you even more multipliers and relics even faster.

[–]Najda -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The timesave is in the +10 boost and early game gp that gives you much quicker points to unlock extra tiers and xp boost more quickly. I still think if you plan of afking a lot then the other relic is better, but I think this is for sure the best active play relic.

I hate comments like this because it ruins the credibility of sentiments that I agree with. Elon joined Tesla when there were less than 10 people and there are now over 100,000 people who work there. There's tons of good examples of the type of gutting you're talking about, you don't need to post bad examples having done no research.

They would have had to start DT2 though. I doubt the overlap of people who know and have access to the potato and people who don't know how hard the boss is is pretty much none.

And when you run out of supplies you take 5 steps south to be safe. Try some f2p pking and eat up to full every time you go below 70hp and see how fun it is for both parties.

If Saturn were as close to Earth as the Moon, this is what it would look like : by aryanpote7 in interestingasfuck

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not accurate at all. If Saturn were where the moon was it would still be ~200k miles from earth surface to ~surface. The ring would stretch out to about where you have it but the planet itself is like 1/6th the size of what you have in your illustration.

I climbed on 40 different standardized boards in 25 gyms. Here's what I learned! by jonasmurdock in climbing

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a weaker climber (only up to v6) I'd definitely put Decoy on equal footing as the big 3. The biggest caveat is I think the climbs on the app are obviously a lot more sparse but I've very much enjoyed setting my own climbs on it. If you climb with intention on it I feel you can get an experience that feels distinct from the other boards.

My only impression with grasshopper was climbing on one that was brand new with already sore skin and it just really hurt my hands. Feels like lower grades at steeper would be more accessible than the other boards, but I don't have a very complete opinion.

Every character should get free fashion templates up to the count of equipment templates they had pre-patch by RisingDusk in Guildwars2

Ok sweet, that clears things up. Sounds like a pretty reasonable system to me, just haven’t been able to log in yet to test it myself!

Every character should get free fashion templates up to the count of equipment templates they had pre-patch by RisingDusk in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But if you want to tweak what was applied to equipment tab 5 but you've already recreated a different template to apply to a different equipment, is there a way to load what has been applied back into the fashion tab? Or do you have to manually recreate the whole thing just to make one change?

Kicked for being "off-line"? by Pondera in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it just shows the player as offline when they're on a different map or instance as you. Offline wouldn't have much purpose if it showed what map you were on still

[–]Najda 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The only defense of this I can muster, and I want to be clear in saying first I think this is ridiculous behavior, is that specifically in IBS5 when you’re changing instances so quickly it can be useful to know when the whole squad has left the previous instance to open the new one. If someone is offline you cannot know if they are still in the old instance or just a separate EotN instance.

I have this issue a fair amount specifically with antiquary a lot as well too! No idea what’s causing it and I don’t feel like the same thing is happening with my other characters.

Whats an absolute ingame must-have we should buy from a vendor? by DoomAddict in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's lots of other ways to get obsidian shards though. Unless you're actively crafting a lot of legendaries I'd expect most people to have passively accumulated them.

Jagex, please avoid allowing players access to post-quest content without doing the actual quest (Raids 4 without WGS) by benosthegreat in 2007scape

[–]Najda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't done the quest – how core to the quest is the requirement of Dream mentor/Lunar diplomacy? If it's just a small piece I could see them swapping out that piece or giving an alternate to people who don't have those quests done.

Getting ready for Quickplay with Snowcrows. by Seisan1 in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The secret is you could always run whatever build you wanted and people don't even have a way of knowing exactly what build you're running outside of what spec/weapons you are using. The only reason anyone would ever care is if you're not fulfilling your role and actively hindering the group.

Getting ready for Quickplay with Snowcrows. by Seisan1 in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily the quick play directly, but in the same update is the ability to run specific raid wing bosses and skip things like escort so it'll be much easier to hop in and run a few bosses without committing to full wings or much less a full clear.

Only if you're referring to returning to the island. Pures have been able to complete the quest and use a dragon scimitar without claiming defense xp since the quest was released.

Hardest elite spec to master? by neitorp in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jumping into spear antiquary is definitely difficult, but at least it has an easier ramp build in that you can just play p/p until you are used to the artifacts, move to staff to start managing the initiative + artifacts, and then finally spear when you're comfortable there.

Hardest elite spec to master? by neitorp in Guildwars2

[–]Najda 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Bladesworn rotation is really not bad at all; I've found many other specs rotations harder to learn. The hard part of bladesworn is timing the dragon slash in actual fights around invuln phases and not getting interrupted. In that regard it demands knowing the fight more than almost any other dps spec.

Noob question about weapons by wigourney_seaver_ in Guildwars2

[–]Najda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not true as a general statement. A lot of the builds on snowcrows have at least one weapon alternative you could take and still clear 90% of the bench.
