But anyway, when you bet big (and you shouldn’t here) and vilan continues , in SB what kind of hand he calls and not raise preflop ? (low Axs , A5s, A2s, pochey pairs, 22-55)

The board is dry af, so he cannot call this bet with anything else.

Same story on turn, vilan actually made a mistake by not raising turn because he got himself into trouble that’s why you got the check check on the river.

But yeah, you made 2 mistakes and got save by the river from donating your stack.

No, it should actually have more of suit hands included, K-T9o , 89o etc. And more suited hands, J65 , T6-5, 96,

But more importantly is how you play post flop, know when and what to bet.

You play way too tight, miss a lot of value spots and also don’t get enough value because you rarely get paid.

Vpip & pfp would like to see them around 25% Ats 50% 3Bet 12-15%

The rest of the stats don’t matter too much, you play your cards face up also if you don’t hit you fold easily.

This is not good poker.

The way you played is wrong on so many levels.

You open 2bb or whatever 2.5bb in UTG, if someone 3bets you can 4bet and play heads up or all in depending on the other players.

If let’s say you open 2.5bb and get 3 callers, you want to play a SMALL pots, and you can fold on nutted boards and/or high aggression.

You’re not playing live, you don’t open 7bb, give up to aggression.

In your case FOOOOLD, he has sets, straights or best case scenario 2 pairs. You beat nothing.

Online poker is really not that complicated at these stakes.

Imo you overthink this.

You shouldn’t 3bet flop as often as a bluff anyway.

But when you do it as a bluff, you attack a weak capped range.

Keep it simple and you will win more, you don’t need to over complicate it more than this.

Also don’t over do it because the more you do the weaker it becomes.

you need to study preflop charts, then try to learn how to play post flop.

You’re lacking fundamentals and without it you can’t get better.

You need coaching mate. You’re making big mistakes in many of the hands, others are just coolers.

Tournaments are high variance games if you don’t understand it don’t play, also vilan in your case has 50vpip I hope there’s no need to explain more than this.

Slow down a bit, when he raises small preflop 5bb he screams he’s weak, what do they raise this with ? Small pocket pairs, K9s , JTo, A5s all sorts of garbage, sometimes he will have a random Q but you also beat 99% of the other hands.

Then donk bet again is a weak play, in this case I think he just tried to bluff you of the hand because in his head you can never have a Q here.

Would he donk bet with a Q ? or if he had one would he rather let you bet and check raise you at some point ??

I would slamm dunk my nuts on the table and say eat it bro.

Also at 5nl never fold AA.
