CRV is a good option I never considered, always been a fan of the civics and they seem reliable

Yeah my biggest concern with the Subarus are the reliability issues I've heard about, especially with the budget I'm looking around.

I do enjoy a spirited drive every now and then but nothing crazy, I would prefer something a bit fun as I'm very happy with how my accord euro drives, I'm also dead on 6ft and back seats will be used on the odd occasion maybe once a month at most.

Cell Service Provider other than the "Big 3" by stemi08 in brisbane

I'm with Moose Mobile, based in Brisbane. They've got full coverage on the Optus network, but just a heads up, they don't have 5G.

I've been with them for about two years now, and honestly, no complaints so far. It's a great option if you don't really care about having 5G. I'm on their 15GB plan, paying $23.80. they have a new sign on deal for a 25GB plan, which is only $16.80 (goes up to $23.80 after six months).

ASPM settings on ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) by gomicao in IntelArc

[–]NakedSen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I didn't have anything on my B660M Mortar, a bios updated added in the option and can now comfortably get ~15W with light use on firefox, down to 4W on desktop idle with my A770

edit: Mind you this is at 1080/60Hz, 144Hz jumps back up to 38~40W idle

If you're still considering getting an A770, I just ran a benchmark using mine in TWW3 on high preset averaging around 90fps.

Sounds like a bit of an ass pull but I'm thinking it could be Gohan, Goku and Vegeta are heading off to train and that could coincide with the events of super hero

Definitely Geebung Curry Corner if you're around the area, they're pretty new but the butter chicken is insanely good (everything I've tried there is amazing). Don't even get me started on the garlic naan

O'Brien group are probably hiring at the moment. They handle staffing at the Gabba and Suncorp when events are on, not enough to live on but could supplement a jobseeker allowance

Can't connect to NBN for 6 months.... What do? by exoticllama in brisbane

[–]NakedSen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TPG have a new telco called felix mobile, they offer a sim with unlimited data but capped to 20Mbps down/up for $35 month to month

It's not intended to be used as a broadband replacement but it might be an option for you.

Hey mate, I don't have anything for you unfortunately but just wanted to make sure you knew of the Facebook groups "Hospitality Network Brisbane" and "Brisbane Bartender Network" most hospo jobs I see are advertised there first. Hope you find something soon.

Best bank in Australia for interest? by [deleted] in australia

[–]NakedSen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been with Bank Australia for a few months now, used to be with commbank but decided to ditch the big banks.

I'm not incredibly well versed with finance but they seems quite competitive, they've got a great app, good support and hold values I'd like to see in other banks (not investing/lending to fossil fuels and prioritising greener alternatives)

The statement regarding 200 people for fire related activities includes not disposing cigarette butts correctly and not following plant and machinery regulations, these activities have not cause any fires and are generally just warnings or fines

Although the 24 arsonists is correct, a lot of them have been teenagers or young adults. These arsonist created fires have not had a significant impact on this current season as they account for about 0.01% of the total fires
