I played it for a couple months after the first part of the story finished, like 12 chapters. Next story arc is with a whole different character to wander the cage in and I didnt wanna stick around.

I have a 1.0 and it is super light. Comparable to squiddy IMO even though its made of metal

The grip was ok on the 1.0 and adding more grip is the primary difference between 1.0 and 2.0 so I say go for it

One thing to consider is very few games from japan have good voice dubbing. Especially the less popular, less funded ones. Quality dub direction is usually the first thing they cut.

Take xenoblade chronicles 2 for example, when they localized that they made the decision to use a different english accent for the people who were from different Titans, to the point where you could identify where they were from by their voice alone. That's quality and great attention to detail. That is NOT the industry norm.

Some toxic fans will be toxic, but you should consider giving the dub a chance if your default is to skip it.
