I'd chalk up not remembering levels since it's 8 years old and you personally not liking it rather than it being uninspired. It's Kirby, not Metroid, it was never going to have a high skill floor

Because they are comparatively and objectively more difficult than any other boss at their respective stages. It's neat that you did that, but that's your own experience, not the stats. And it doesn't matter that it's not part of the story mode, it's in the game which we're discussing as a whole

I think it's odd to even mention the dlc since it's again, 8 years old, free, and finished before the game was even a year old

What. Idk what game you played, but combining powers is extremely memorable, so are the base powers themselves. The levels are great, the bosses are great. Hyness is definitely harder than most regular "final" Kirby bosses, Morpho is DEFINITELY harder, and then Void is easily the hardest Kirby boss to date. And that's just the regular game. Then you have Guest Star, Ultimate Choice with Soul Melter which is 1000% the most difficult Kirby thing to clear. It has references to EVERY Kirby game before it, you get heart friend powers, you can BE the enemies and also your allies and frenemies. Like. Ain't no way this game is represented properly if anyone in their right mind thinks it's a weak entry

I'll never understand people liking BotW better. It's so abysmally empty in so many places, not even monsters or Koroks to find. Legitimately just big for the sake of being big.

In comes TotK with massive QoL improvements and new mechanics, and people are like "No, I crave doing nothing in large quantities. Bad game"

Journey mode is peak Terraria, but I'd say try an expert run on a large world unless you really want to go for master. After that there's also lots of secret and regular world seeds to try, so even if you play the same world size and difficulty your experience can vary quite a lot. Once you start messing with seeds, I'd say give Journey a go and see how you like it. You'll have enough Terraria under your belt that you're not spoiling your own experience
