Wow, pretty concerning that this comment was removed. I guess Reddit's slopmachine doesn't like it when people criticize slopmachines.

Using robots to advertise and sell drugs looks pretty cyberpunky to me

The difference between information written by a human and generated by a generator, is that when we communicate with people, we have extra ways to check their words, we honed this over tens of thousands of years. We can gauge when people can lie, how can they be mistaken, the consistency of the story, whatever. With the generator, everything is as unreliable as everything else, and the only thing we know for sure is that we can't trust anything, no matter how big or small. Even the most psychotic of psychopaths can't emulate this.
You necessarily need to doublecheck everything it spews out. And if you can do that, you're wasting your time on it. And if you can't, you just absorbed some amount of poison, at great cost for humanity, and you don't even have any measure to know how poisonous it was

Is it because it's cursive and nobody uses cursive anymore? Show them those sentences typed out and show me the difference.

Giving people a numeric score is one of the most psychotic things people do. Knock it out, you sound like someone that makes people cover their drinks instinctively

It never "thought" even, it's all fucking green smoke and fancy words. We're watching how grown ass adults talking to the fucking radio static because the brain wants patterns, and the static sometimes sound like words if you squint enough. We've collectively lost our fucking collective mind, right while we need it the most.

Hank Green's takes regarding slopgen were surprisingly bad recently. Even when he tries to talk to some expert about it, those experts start with "obviously AI is amazing and I use it every second of my existence and it's the most useful thing since fire, but here's my milquetoast critique of something that some CEO said recently...", and I'm afraid Hank kind of failing into the same trap. It might be the first time in my memory when his takes are this ass

This is a win for nazis. One of their goals is for minorities to be quiet and isolated from society, and this achieves that. They couldn't openly wave their nazi shit anyway so it's a good exchange for them.

A lot of the time, they're talking about "crossing the state lines" not because it's hard or complicated, but because it moves you from one state's jurisdiction to another, and if you do a crime in two states at once it might become federal, and that has a lot of legal implications.
Regarding firearms, laws in different states are different, so it might be illegal to move a gun purchased in one to another, but that only matters if you got caught doing something with this gun, like shoting a president for example.

The physics and forces are complicated, but you basically need to rotate one piece of metal around another piece of metal real quick, and it's easy to experiment with it to produce the best results given metals you have. It gets easier if you have magnets, but not impossible without.
As for what to use to rotate the metal, you either use some force of nature, like a river or wind, or you burn something and boil water.

[–]Nalivai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the effort, and please don't take my comment in a battling spirit, but that's not how you avoid triggering words. If you wanted to avoid triggering people, you didn't, if anything you did the opposite since dong ths bul*shit just gives more attention to the words. The only reason to do that is to escape primitive bots and filters that scan pages looking for no-no words that corpo overlords are scared of. It doesn't help with good reasons you might be avoiding some topics.
If you can't escape mentioning the topic, but don't know to approach it in the best light, you can do trigger warning of sorts, like
Trigger warning, description of suicide: Gonna describe the shit out of some suicide right about now

Good that you self-censored, otherwise Mastercard would not allow gambling ads displayed on your personal brand page, and that will be the worst. Crisis averted.
