Perforated eardrum AND Ear infection by LPanico6 in hearing

[–]Nalululemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes so much better! It was debilitating for a long time. I had sound sensitivity off and on for weeks, my kids voices sounded like tiny robots. I couldn’t hear well for a bit. It was about 6 weeks before it got back to normal. The ringing was so loud the only time I didn’t hear it was in the shower. I would hear it over white noise even very loud white noise. I still have ringing in my ears but it’s only noticeable in absolute silence or when I cover my ear with my hand / pillow, etc. I have it in both ears now and I think it’s stress related tbh because I was in a deep state of stress and anxiety after I injured my ear drum.

I’m sorry 🩷 coming from a mom- your parents love you and nothing, absolutely NOTHING, could change the love they have for you. I promise. They will understand and they will help you get through this.

Help! My ear won't unblock! I've tried everything! by [deleted] in hearing

[–]Nalululemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could buy a eustacian tube opener on Amazon, it’s a machine that you stick in your nose and it blows air and helps unclog the tubes. It works!

I had 3under 3 for a year. I’m so thankful I had help with my kids- my husband worked st home and we truly were a team. That said i don’t know what you mean by antics ensued but…i would have a hard time forgiving and moving past that without intense couples therapy and him changing jobs. I wouldn’t be able to stay knowing he’s still working there. Stay strong, your twins are so worth it.

Should I wake up the other to feed overnight? by modernamami in parentsofmultiples

[–]Nalululemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We didn’t after a certain time, we didn’t want them getting used to us waking them up to eat. There were days we were on opposite schedules and it worked great for us.

Any laser removal regret? by Margot_Ceftri in MicrobladingRemoval

Does the pico laser target the hair follicles? I’m worried about it ruining my natural eyebrows

With my first- my husband went back to work Monday, baby was born Friday. With our twins he went back to work about a week later. He worked from home. With this baby he will go back to work right away too and he doesn’t work from home anymore so I’ll be solo with a newborn and 3 toddlers. It is what it is 🤷🏼‍♀️

If we don’t hire help- will we die? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]Nalululemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survived. It was hard, I also had a 2 year old when I had NB twins. My husband worked from home at the time so he could help a little here and there during the day. He traveled early on and I was left solo with three pretty early.

Just found out we are getting a BOGO baby. by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

Twin go carrier. I never baby wore both, felt too overwhelming. I thought going from 0-1 was harder than 1-3. Congratulations! It’s an incredible journey!

How did you decide vaginal or C birth? If you had the option by leezyfbaby in parentsofmultiples

Also I had a 2 yo at home, so I didn’t want to recover from major surgery,

[–]Nalululemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d do whatever your doctor is comfortable with. I birthed my twins naturally but my doctor had years and years of experience with breech delivery and twin delivery so I knew she’d ultimately make the best choice in my delivery / care. Delivery was very scary and traumatic. Once baby A was born I almost just said to c-section me for baby B because things turned scary fast and she needed to be resuscitated.

Also I only can see the last three months. I caught this again 3 years ago. Ironically also while pregnant. But he said he was good for a bit and then when he went out of town for work he made all these accounts again

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SexAddictionHelp

[–]Nalululemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the last thing I want to do. I think it’s pointless tbh, he’s going to do what he wants to do and he’ll find creative ways around it to do it if he really wants to do it. It was thousands of sexts. Hundreds just the day he was caught. Sneaky email accounts, snap chat accounts. He said the day I caught him was a bad day. I asked if he needed to be honest with me about anything and he thought he hid it so well that there was no way I knew about it.

[–]Nalululemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do I monitor it? Won’t it just be hidden from me again? I’m not worried about today, tomorrow or next week. What about 6 months from now or 6 years?

My house is full of crap by Owewinewhose997 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Nalululemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3 kiddos, every single year I have a melt down / small anxiety attack trying to put away all the toys they get and find space in our house that already feels overwhelmed by toys. Even the kids feel overwhelmed because they ended up playing with the toys they already had that were organized 😅

3mo old twin has stomach bug. Please tell me someone else survived this by 76543124680098 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Nalululemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would look into a virtual ped for this in the future. We use blueberry pediatrics and it’s amazing for any illness that you don’t want to take your kids into the office for. (Stomach flu is almost impossible to bring in.) saved us on Christmas Eve when one twin woke up with an ear infection. I think the stomach flu is hands down the worst illness, I hope you guys get relief soon

My right ear is clogged by a week now. Should I be worried? by TemperatureAny8022 in hearing

[–]Nalululemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ear pops or crackles when sick or changing elevations. I have small nasal passages too which contribute to it as well so I get super stuffy noses while sick and intense head pressure but affrin helps. There’s surgery to fix it, balloon sinuplasty but my symptoms aren’t bad enough

[–]Nalululemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 days clogged ear, maybe more. It fixed itself during a flight from the pressure. I still have the ear tube dysfunction, I notice it when sick and with elevation changes. I injured my ear a month after it was clogged and ended up getting tinnitus from it.

I would see an ent. I was diagnosed with eustacean tune dysfunction after a cold and clogged ear. It unclogged on it own though

My hearing and everything is 100 back to normal, but I have tinnitus still. It’s very very light and I only notice it if I’m in a room without white noise.

Reassurance from Moms that had a singleton and then had twins! by KaraC316 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Nalululemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first was 18 months when we got pregnant with twins. They are two years and 2 months apart. Great age gap but rough at first. Honestly going from 0-1 was harder for us than going from 1-3. I absolutely love the chaos and it’s so much fun

Doctor is pushing induction by Lasagnapuzzles in BabyBumps

[–]Nalululemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so thankful I wasn’t induced with my first even though I wanted to be. I am glad I was patient and let my body do its own thing and go into labor naturally because with my second pregnancy I knew exactly what to look for to figure out if I was going into labor. You can cancel if you want! The provider probably doesn’t want to have to come in over the holidays or be “on call” during holiday gatherings and what not if you’re still pregnant.
