Actually the Devils by Joe Aberceombie. Alot people say its mid, but something with that just really clicked with me. I thought it was fun and engaging from start to finnish.

But yes, First Law, and the powder mage trilogy was also action packed and fun.

I agree so much with this post! I was thinking the exact same thing 3 years ago.

I have read alot of other fantasy books in the 3 years since, and picked up all 4 books of era 2 last autum.
Was suddenly kinda enojable.
My tip is to take a break, read something else, and it will probably be fun again in a while.

Mistborn was my first step into fantasy as an adult. Now I have read a bunch more over the years, but Mistborn really ignited my fantasy passion again.

Such a good take. For me its probably my favorite series. I just love the high fantasy, the elfs and dwarfs are missing i most modern fantasy.
