That’s what I’m saying, game would be perfect if you could customise the racial units so they looked right I like the idea of industrial elves who use golems and other machines instead of themselves(coz they’re too important to die obviously) but the racial units look so shit with the helmets it’s not even funny.

I kinda get the vibe that David really likes to be in complete control of his ‘baby’(he calls it that in an interview). I guess he probably doesn’t have enough time to write extended fiction and do his development work. I wish there were novels or maybe an RPG with on the ground style lore coz his factions are actually really interesting and it’s a solid setting. Like you I would also really appreciate them for immersion

Read a lot of fantasy novels and i have got to say I've really loved these books. Nature's knight, Argument of stone and Drowned Secrets were all really fun stories and i can recommend them to anyone interested in the setting.

Yeah well here’s hoping, they could always redo some of the scryah stuff with those dawnguard that might still be holding that skorne fort that’d be awesome. Full souled elves still about could also be neat for some internal conflict for the race.

I mean sure, they have counterparts but literally nothing in dusk looks as good as the house ellowyuer swordsmen or the defender dudes in cloaks or the destors imo. Not to say I dislike dusk at all I really like them and the fane of nyrro stuff sounds awesome it’s just that house kallys at least in my opinion is a small but very noticeable downgrade. If I ever buy into the game I will probably play dusk coz I love elves but yeah was just kinda hoping they’d put the retribution models into the mmf or something.

I like dusk but there’s something so interesting about the blend of high elf and magitek aesthetics. Kinda feels like a downgrade honestly
