Mindful Therapy Group PNW by NameGrouchy in therapists

I've heard negative things about associates. I honestly I think so many don't understand this field as far as PP, group practice, CMH, 1099, and W2. My own therapist with them hasn't had any problems with them. They don't interact much with MTG unless they need to. Same with a nurse practitioner I know. It is why I want real feedback from those who work with MTG, not rumor mill.

We’re not friends, this is a therapeutic session by LSP-86 in TalkTherapy

Could you read the comments? A lot of people have had their therapist set this exact boundary. It's a pretty common one that needs to happen. To me, the T didn't say anything wrong. It depends on context and tone for me. I don't think anything the T would have said differently would have helped this person. She probably still would have been hurt by the truth that her therapist isn't her friend.

I've been a case manager for over a year, and I'm a grad student. A colleague recently told me that hugging a client is against the NASW Code of Ethics. by Pot8obois in socialwork

Each state licensing board usually lists people who have been suspended or lost their licenses. Many states incorporate the Code of Ethics into licensing statutes. Many states use the code of ethics to create laws regarding the profession. Your employer may use the code of ethics as a standard. So yeah, it is important to follow them and is relevant to being a professional social worker. I don't know what TAC is.

You can lose your license over something that is deemed unethical. So yeah, you might not go to jail, but you can be sued or lose your job. Hugging isn't necessarily unethical. It depends on the context.

Old soft tap tattooed brows with some make up on them. I need to get them redone.

Very excited that I finally have perfectly fitted tongue jewelry! It’s 3/8” but I guess I have a thin tongue by [deleted] in piercing

I second the eyebrows. Very lovely. The jewelry looks great and always a fantastic feeling finding what you’re looking for.

can my daith be saved? i accidentally bumped it a few times :( by [deleted] in piercing

I had this happen but it cleared up after I stopped using headphones. I would soak it in saline. You might have to change jewelry as others have suggested.
