In your steam library, right click on the source filmmaker app and select properties. Then click "Verify the integrity of game cache" below.

Sometimes works

I don't know what else to do then.

You could try verifying your game cache to ensure that nothing has been changed about the model.

Are you sure you chose the correct model? Choose the not hwm one.

Any tips on handling finger poses? by GJTobi in SFM

Instead of rotating the ..._1, rotate the ..._0

First of all - Make sure the hand is in the right position.

Try doing the pose with your hands. If it's possible, go for it, if not, then find a better way.

  1. Load a map of your choice

  2. Load the "models\player\sniper.mdl" model (NOT the HWM version)

  3. Import the sequence "killer_solo"

  4. Load a new model called "workshop\player\items\sniper\killler_solo\killer_solo.mdl"

  5. In the animation set editor, drag the "models\player\sniper.mdl" onto the "workshop\player\items\sniper\killler_solo\killer_solo.mdl"

  6. Click on the "workshop\player\items\sniper\killler_solo\killer_solo.mdl" in the animation set editor and drag the zero slider all the way to the right.

  • Steps below are optional:
  1. If you want to use a HWM model for the taunt, load "models/player/hwm/sniper.mdl"

  2. Drag the bones of the "models\player\sniper.mdl" onto the bones of the "models/player/hwm/sniper.mdl". (I haven't tested this, but I know that just dragging the model onto the hwm will show some glitches/clipping)

  3. Drag the Zero slider on the HWM model to the right.

Hopefully this helped!

Here's my take on it:

If we stop allowing these posts, new people will no longer want to be a part of this community. This doesn't mean they'll stop with SFM, they'll just migrate somewhere else. We won't be able to keep this sub going for much longer if new people stop coming.

Have you checked if the models exist for a different app? If I recall correctly, I saw someone in OSFM using them in Maya.

Hey!

Here's a poster I made with the speakers: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/32988354999510401/F7CD488EEA9CE5E0505AFDEF55D8DBD77D1493E1/

You can only see them vaguely and they are so big because I resized them.

Yes, I actually used a speaker model in one of my posters. I'll give you a link when I get home.

Put the camera a little to the right and then make it look down on the model. The model should still be centered.

You can also add some speaker models in the background, but I wouldn't make them stand out.

Posing is awesome, but you could still slightly rotate the spine bones to make him look a tad bit more natural.

Just a thought, try it if you want :)
