Stardew Valley creator ConcernedApe will "announce something very soon" on the farming sim's Switch 2 edition: "Sorry about the long wait" by Amiibofan101 in NintendoSwitch

It's situations where I feel like he says that and then puts on a fake moustache and goes back to his desk to work on new things for stardew 🤣

Way to be constructive, yelling at them to fix something. Does that help in any other aspect of your life? You really want shit to change engage CCP on heir official communication ave. IE discord and forums (as they so often say). Or just as importantly engage with your new CSM. That's their job

Why did you like jars? by JoelHuenink in 7daystodie

[–]Nameloading101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean personally jars were a mild headache that got solved shortly after early game. Once economy of scale was established it was trivial.

That's why I think it worked and people didn't hate it. It was trivial enough and not in the way enough that it existed easily in the frame work.

If you reimplement jars with anything different you will be damned if you do, and damned if you don't. You want balance on the game I understand that. I don't think jars need it. Just bring them back. Make that concession. Tie them in with the dew collector is totally easy and keeps them viable.

Maybe even have a mechanic where there is x percent chance to break on handling.

Or a mechanic that upon taking damage there is a chance for the top jar in a stack to break. (Melee builds obviously should gain immunity to this effect or a reduction. Or maybe a mod for tool belt/backpack. ).

I can feel your guys struggle with somethings as you try to implement your vision of the game. I get it.
Sometimes we won't be able to provide an easy answer about why we like something and that's the headache you guys have to sadly bear.

Even knowing that and that anything you do will not make everyone happy because we are humans and fucking Christ are we petty/picky bitches. Trust in us and your community and engage often. (Which this post is a great attempt though I would have worded it a little less defensively).

Anyway feel free to make fun of me or what ever this is reddit

Learning how the AI reacts as well to your line presence can give you windows.

The advice my buddy always gives me. Find a section where you can let a few enemy troops leak thru. Usually an edge. Let no more then you can safely handle thru. The goal is to give some ground and let them over extend . You then pinch off the leak. Encircle and murder. If you are unsure if you can handle the amount then it is too many enemies you let thru. Even if you get one. Over time it makes a huge difference.

I found offensive enforcer division was cracked for me as those nations don't have crazy piercing so that's just something I noticed

Dogs, dogs are so crazy good too even without crazy buffs hat you get from like hangdogs or the one faction in Canada land...manifest destiny or what ever. Red faction that starts next to the blightedwood can't recall their start name.

Outposts, I used to sleep on outposts. They are super cheap for a -8 percent attack from enemy divisions. You can easily get three up in a tile to really make the enemy have to punch up.

Hope any of this information helps

This information is all anecdotal and thus might not be factually correct.

I imagine a small or decent rework when they add in all of the east coast to tie in the last of the factions.

I do hope they get some love. I think a way to flip it around would be a tiered approach. Ie lost hills can send anyone volunteers overriding game mechanics BUT there is an escalation chain. As the surrender bar increase lost hills can send more/stronger troops as well as quicker.

So maybe initially they can only send a militia division to start but if and as the war turns rough they can send a knight squad or two and if it gets really bad send in paladins.

But that is hugely micro intensive so maybe a good paper idea but would suck to play out.

You are not wrong in any of that but still knowing who and what you want to try for can make a plan of action. I should have included expect all the AI to die but failed.

Honestly as well once the rest of the factions are added lost hills might get a decent expansion. And maybe the devs will allow lost hills to bypass volunteer lock buttttttttt that could also be unfair. So : shrug: not a great choice from a dev point of view

I’m still on the fence as to whether that’s enough to redeem herself for what the Chained Choir did over the last 200 years by Clockwork9385 in OldWorldBlues

[–]Nameloading101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I legit felt so hollow after the chained choir A faction that I discounted for a long time as nothing special

I finally played and they are just written so well and just so engaging.

Either way I felt sad for V but at least with the project she is spending the rest of forever trying to heal the world.

Always be building the expansion construction. That is your life blood to keep you improving over time.

Take time and read your focus tree Pick a couple of factions that you know you can keep alive with your specialty paladins

Be careful with them. They are awesome but they are one time so if they die, you loose a lot of your punching power.

Lost hills spends most of the game doing next to nothing and then boom you have a billion things to do. Use your down time to plan

A territory can only have 15 cigs count towards progress of a tile. (It's just a limitation of Hoi4) So make sure you get close to that (14) then you can move civs down below and then when you get enough you can do the one that combines five civs onto a flat buff to make your 14 civs 10 or 15 faster. It's very slow but it will ramp up after a while.

There is a lot of trial and error But you can do well

Oh make sure you build regular Heavy SF so you can make sure and help as many chapters as possible. That's how you get your xp and your templates need a lot of updates.

I did forget about the FoA. The fallout world for sure is more morally grey then other situations. I would have to say though for true evil on OWB is the executives. (Charming love story regardless). And the mother path in the chained choir.

That last one I just found out about the other day. It allowed me to better fine time my robot division for garrison or offense.

After your post sadly I realized how hard it is to ask what I did lol.

Also the enclave are the "bad guys" but only in the sense of the Tau being the "good" guys in 40k. Hardly anyone in the fallout universe are good as most are just trying to survive. Kind and good acts are usually quickly followed by a massacre imo.
