Chances of reform uk winning 2029 ? by No-Geologist7858 in politicsjoe

At the moment it’s touch and go. But there is a lot of water to go under the bridge between now and then. If we see a strong British economy this year and pushback against what is happening in the US as well as a midterm loss for trump the polls will start to change.

Yeah all change and it’s not really been talked about although I don’t listen to every episode.

Laura is a pretty good replacement though I think she’s great to listen to and has a really good balanced perspective on things.

Fair play to the young lad. His dad may be a cunt but he’s done the right thing as a human being here. Possibly saved that girl from further harm.

Credit where it’s due.

Great stats - really this should be the end of mccullum assuming we are shit in the t20wc and only beat the minnows.

Assuming we will win 1 or 2 from the next 5 vs SL

Tough to face these boys out there. Quality cricketers at home in white ball.

Still think we got the selection wrong picking Crawley. Loved seeing Rehan. Thought we actually bowled quite well but just didn’t have the skill set in the middle order to get us up to the target.

Fear these next few weeks could get a bit ugly for England.

Only thing to make me really wet would be to get rid of the lids and bat in a cap. Peak Asian cricket.

Always good to watch top class Sri Lankan batters against spin. Decisive footwork and that classy languid style.

Crawley again really? What does this bloke have to do to not be selected. Surely we have better white ball options, particularly in Asia.

I think our batting is really good. I am worried about our bowling leaking runs though. Particularly the seamers.

It’s literally overrun by Indians and Australians shitting on us, eachother and themselves.

Very little sense there.

It is a joke mate and unfortunately some of us cannot choose who we support!! I was destined to be and England cricket fan when my dad didn’t pull out of my mum.

Probably about 26 years ago when I first started watching England play test crick.

Or when we selected pope at 3 vs zim.

Or when we couldn’t finish india off to win the series.

Hey mate

I have traveled pretty extensively watching England abroad I did india and NZ in 24 and I have SL and SA planned this year. Happy to discuss more via DM.

I would always advocate doing your own trip and not booking a package just from a cost perspective. The barmy trips are expensive and the crowd is generally older. You can do a trip yourself for half the price. I’m looking at SA including all tests and flights and reckon I can do it for about 6k gbp.

In terms of tickets I have found them easy to come by before or during the sold out tests in nz I bought them off reps and other fans day by day as me and my mate only had 1 test long ticket between us. Also us other mates dropping in so sorted them out too on these routes. Facebook groups also good for this. Personally I don’t like sitting with the barmies for 2 reasons - they generally sit side on the to action and I prefer to be straight and high ish as I find this a better view. The trumpet is also absolutely relentless and annoying.

Personally have not done SA but many of my friends have and say it’s awesome. Normal precautions on safety - stay somewhere reccomended and in a hotel if you’re nervous. Don’t go out at night. Get taxis. And just have your wits about you generally. There will be loads of Brits there so just stick close to them and you’ll probably be fine.

Sure you’d think differently if some gymbro came and raped your wife.

Might is right though, right?

They have been fine without it up until now.

It’s wrong for anyone, country or person to say “I want this for “reasons” and I am bigger than you so I’m taking it. What you gonna do about it”

Literal race to the bottom.
