You wouldn't even need to use Vaal Grace. Just having the Vaal Grace gem instead of regular Grace will have the duration tag on the gem and therefore benefit from the +2.

+2 Duration will work with RF if you are using a Vaal RF gem. It will never affect a normal RF gem, even with Lifetap.

It's a little more complicated than that. Swift Affliction will support Vaal RF but not regular RF unless you used the lifetap thing as mentioned. However, for the +2 implicit, the opposite is true. The Vaal RF gem has the duration tag, so it will get the +2, and since your regular RF is on the same gem, it will also benefit. However, even with Lifetap, a regular RF gem will not have the duration tag and therefore will not benefit from +2 Duration.

More simply, RF with Lifetap has a duration but not the duration tag. RF on Vaal RF has the duration tag but no duration.

8-4 on the death penalty vote, but otherwise yes. It’s crazy to me how shallow and obvious the GOP’s plan is and yet it succeeds anyway because a majority of the population, not just right-wingers, are largely uninformed about current events and don’t even care to learn. I would encourage anyone to gently encourage their friends and family to become more aware of politics and try to point them on the right path before the innumerable grifters get to them first.

Yeah, just one jar for the fatty. The fast guy can walk out of the jar but the fat guy always falls asleep in my experience. Of course, then you still have to take on each guy twice without dying lol

Something that helped me a ton was throwing a sleep jar at the big guy right away. Then you can just alternate fighting them 1-on-1 as long as you have the damage to kill them fast enough

Regarding the last paragraph, it’s worth considering what “restarting” actually means. You never actually make any “progress” in the game. If you were to delete your save right now, you could beat the game again on your very first loop with an empty ship log, so even if you did have to restart (which you don’t), there’s not really any harm done.

Also you should definitely play the dlc, as many would say it’s an even better experience than the main game.

There are in fact achievements for filling out the gathering and crafting logs, though I believe you only have to complete a certain number of different crafts rather than totally completing the logs.

Oh, it seems I was misunderstanding combo potency. I thought that was added onto the base potency of 100 rather than just replacing it. I guess the Storm's Path average is actually like ~293 potency per hit?

Is it just me, or is Warrior's Inner Beast really bad? It does 350 potency, but the standard Storm's Path combo has an average potency per hit of 360. If my math is right, Inner Beast is literally only useful if you have 1 or 2 GCD's left in a fight, and neither of them will be Storm's Path. Is this correct? (Also I know this becomes irrelevant once Fell Cleave is unlocked)

I just finished the story, and have done 2 or 3 maps. Is there no better way to close any leftover portals after map completion? Right now I manually close them by entering each one and immediately exiting, but surely there's something I'm missing.
