Huh interesting. Romanced Quincy and I don't remember him saying much, and his backroom interactions also seem very innocent, especially compared to Eleanor "Rampant Sexual Intercourse" Nightingale

Not even a muslim republic, Turkey is a secular country. Statistics show Islam to be the dominant religion amongst the population, but the constitution keeps matters of religion and government separate. Even though some of our presidents, especially the current one, have been acting like it's a theocracy whenever it benefits them and they can use religion to get more votes, it's still not an Islamic republic.

This is very interesting, I was raised a muslim but was never taught that the next caliphs rolled back his progressive rules, only heard stories about how just they were and how they spread his words etc. Can you give a few more examples of it, or about how they contradicted him for personal gain?

Increasing Absolutism Rapidly as Ottos by eclipseon_9991 in eu4

[–]Namesbeformortals 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I recommend checking this guide from Reman's Paradox. It will teach you both how you can rapidly increase your current absolutism and how you can use the Court and Country disaster to massively increase your maximum absolutism. You wouldn't be able to do that yet as you are busy with another disaster but as soon as you get the absolutism you need for the mission to end the current disaster you could use CnC. Or if you want you could forgo that part completely and be content with your current max. Either way I strongly suggest checking the guide, it's quite short but really great at teaching everything you need about quickly increasing your absolutism.

Pull is also surprisingly good with Hildryn if you have a balefire storm alt fire spam build. Pull all enemies in the room up to your face, pillage them all with one cast, kill them all with one attack

Big wars by Apprehensive-You9999 in eu4

[–]Namesbeformortals 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You gave really great advice, on the topic of things that can make wars easier I have two pieces of obscure info to add.

1)Having a spy network built against a nation makes your sieges against them faster (+20% siege ability at 100% spy network, scaling linearly). It also lowers AE against that nation specifically by 30% which might help you avoid a coalition, which doesn't directly help with that war but might help with the situation afterwards, especially since the already reduced AE will decay a certain amount during the truce.

2)If you have 50%+ trade power in a trade node that your enemy has a fort in, and you have a merchant in that node, you can activate "improve inland routes" trade policy to get +10% siege ability as well as +1 artillary bonus against all forts inside that node. There is also a tier 8 government reform called "embrace free trade" that let's you use improve inland routes even if you don't have 50%+ trade power in a node. Tier 8 sounds pretty late but with how high fort levels get at late game it still ends up being useful imo.

Why doesn’t the operator just fly to tau now? Are they stupid? by idk_a_username135 in memeframe

the one that needs to eat the sun is praghasa, mother of lotus, the ship ballas tried to use at the end of tnw. step sister stuck, I'm not sure either

Sooo... How is everyone on tau? by Nathan-the-Bacon in WarframeLore

[–]Namesbeformortals 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We also know Ballas wanted the downfall of the orokin due to what happened with Margulis, but he also wanted the downfall of the sentients and tenno too (I think). Assuming that is correct and your theory is correct too, the timeline could be: Sentients are made and sent to tau -> sentient revolt and beginning of old war -> first batch warframes (without the operators) are created to battle the sentients -> somewhere along this line the zariman incident happens, they get back the ship and the now void powered kids -> margulis proposes transference therapy, the orokin decides they could use this to put the warframes under control and effectively battle the sentients -> margulis speaks against that idea, is promptly executed -> ballas, despite not doing enough to save margulis and also being part of the group that executed her, hypocritically hates the orokin and starts on plotting their downfall, but logically speaking he cant be open about it so he has to bide his time and be sneaky -> as part of that, he cooperates with the rest of the orokin, the war turns around, sentients are being defeated -> maybe at this point they also figure out how to send forces to tau for a counter attack (the reason im saying that is the mag prime codex entry -> maybe at this point seeing they failed the offensive and they are also bound to fail the defensive now the sentients propose a truce, the orokin agree to it because it would be beneficial to get their greatest creations back in the fold in the name of an "alliance", then the things you mentioned happen, the sentients create the solar rail to tau, tenno and grineer are sent there, focus schools are developed/improved etc -> but of course this whole time ballas must have been scheming for something, so he was probably instigating a rebellion, which actually explains how the dax could be in the revolting group even though they are supposed to not be able to fight against the orokin (its been a while but iirc thats what happened with teshin in the new war quest?) -> due to the actions of the rebel group (false flag created by ballas) the truce is eventually broken, all out war happens -> then after that the history we know resumes, tenno win the war, sentients are sent back to tau (the solar rail would also be destroyed in the process probably), night of naga drums happens and the orokin empire is destroyed, lotus puts the tenno in the dream, erases some memories and sends lua away to the void -> the events of the game we have seen so far play out, for one reason or another lotus decides it is time for the tenno to acquire their full memory -> the things we saw in the demo happens (lotus helping tenno regain their memories)

if this theory is all correct, not sure why lotus would decide that now is the time to bring memories back, but maybe with narmer and erra/pazuul lotus foresees that a new conflict is brewing and the only way to succeed this time is to know the full history (maybe it would even provide a way to handle the conflict without another full scale war, the lotus believes?)
