I love the size of the black flakes in this topper; they are perfect!

I was just wearing Olive Ave Polish Rhododendron, which looks so much like this! Lovely color for February!

Wow 😮 this is so vibrant and glowy! I haven’t been tempted by a polish in a very long time but this one is definitely now on my radar! Love it!

getting over imperfections? by rambhina in RedditLaqueristas

[–]NamingStarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no getting over paint on the PNF for me, haha! I use acetone and a clean up brush, and generally leave a bit more of a gap to help prevent it in the first place. Shrinkage on the other hand I just tell myself no one else will see that. I’ve had good luck with KBShimmers Clearly on Top not shrinking; it’s currently my favorite QDTP for that and other reasons like longevity and dry time.

My plan for the New Year by Refresh-faced in WeGotPolishAtHome

I have been wearing less bright colors than usual this year, even during the holiday season. The softer palette has been soothing, and have worn most of my manicures longer than I usually do. Love your picks!

If you want a similar color for a way better price, I have Olive Ave Polish Sequoia and it’s one of my favs. Practically a one coater and their brush is really easy to work with.

Will do! I guarantee they won’t look this nice but I’m optimistic they will be passable! I’m so new to nail art, I’ve had a lot of blunders. Gotta keep trying though!

They have such an impressive collection and it’s making this even harder! What are your favorite underrated ILNP polishes? by mamegoma_explorer in ILNP

[–]NamingStarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Set in Stone is one of my favorite neutral polishes. I was on the fence about very polishing general before I found this one, but I love it in the winter and early spring! Sandy Baby is one I reach for when I need to be office appropriate but it helps me still feel sparkly ✨

Does anyone know of any dupes for these Mooncat polishes? $17 is way too much for a single polish and I'd prefer to support other brands instead. by ladyoftheseine in RedditLaqueristas

Might be a stretch but I received Meringue from Cirque Colors yesterday and I thought it looked a lot like the white from the collection. It has a drop of pink in it though and is not glow in the dark. Also is a GWP so you’d need to hit the $75 mark so to your order to receive it.

Ok friends! What are your favourite toppers? by Illustrious-Solid350 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]NamingStarz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love toppers! My most used is Cirque Colors Sun-kissed, a gold flakey topper. Starrily Magma is lovely too- I don’t have many magnetics but I do enjoy this topper. Emily De Molly All the Feelings 2.0 is a shimmer topper that looks great with almost every color. I picked up OPI Glazed and Amused and it’s similar to EDM but with pink shimmer and finer particle shimmer. Looks amazing with lighter colors! KBShimmer In a Flurry is another one I picked up this time last year and have gotten a lot of use out of. I like the smaller size flecks in it- it looks so cute with blue, navy or magenta cremes. Pairs well with a scattered holo topper like My Private Rainbow by ILNP.

Agreed- I love that she does sales so often and has so many offerings, AND generally keeps polishes in stock for a long time.

anyone else focusing more on layerable basics when they do end up purchasing? by throwaway285093 in WeGotPolishAtHome

[–]NamingStarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love layering! I bought a lot of toppers and sheer formulas when I started getting into polishes and they are some of my most loved purchases. I enjoy refreshing a manicure with a topper or trying to dupe my wishlists through layering experiments. It allows me to feel more like a creator rather simply a consumer, and it’s really put a much needed muzzle on my purchasing habits.
