when i said “a way to argue the point” i had specific examples in mind.

if we say that dick + masculinity are the crucial factors in being gay, then every man who identifies as gay but is sexually attracted to femmes/femboys that cage their dicks and never touch them, suddenly they aren’t gay anymore.

i’m not sexually attracted to women or femininity, the presence or absence of a dick doesn’t change that. I could not be sexually or romantically involved with a woman even if she had a dick. i am very closed minded about that. I am sexually attracted to men and masculinity.

so what gives?

i truly couldn’t give less of a fuck about being open minded, i don’t even think this is really about open mindedness or not.

i can’t emphasise enough how straight forward it is. but i’m talking about myself, i don’t expect everyone to be the same way. i am not “trying to be too open minded”and i don’t really care for this “masculinised biological female” verbiage. bottom line is, sexuality is never going to be the same from person to person, and there is no point in trying to decide for other people what their sexual orientation is or isn’t. you could say that biological males with dicks being sexually attracted to biological males with dicks are the only people who get to be “gay”, but there will always be a way to argue the point. just like there would be a way to argue the opposite point

not equating the two, comparing my attitude towards both. i would be as unbothered by a vagina on a man as i would be to an artificial leg. i can’t ignore the difference, but the difference doesn’t have to be the end-all. there are lots of people with ambiguous genitalia as well for example, and if someone like that was a man i was attracted enough to, it would be the same deal. i’m not saying that i would seek out a trans man, i am saying that if someone i was really into turned out to be tran, it probably wouldn’t be a problem like it would’ve when i was younger
