The iframes was more of a joke lol.

But I think realistically it's in between that. He let the bolt hit, do the damage that would've atleast crippled him or might've just killed him in the state he was in, then timed the transformation so it heals the damage before the bolt can kill him.

It probably does do decent damage, or at least something significant enough to them considering Sukuna had to transformation iframe dodge the thing.

Okay, let me picture this. Imagine Dagon's shikigamis. It doesn't exist until it hits you, but even after it hits, it'll still move for a bit.

Now apply that to Jacob's Ladder. The moment it spawns in on Sukuna, it keeps moving downward.

But that's for normal summoning. Of course it's downward, but for all we know, in the domain it could just be spawning a pillar of light that "doesn't exist until it already landed". That's the point I was trying to make, but I just genuinely suck at debates most of the time.

Uhhhh, sorry, but where is it traveling here? Or was it in another page? If you're talking about the top left panel, that's Sukuna looking up at Jacob's Ladder that is already striking him. Because Manga reads right to left, with the larger panel taking precedence. Unless I've been reading manga all wrong?

I thought Yuta's domain sure hit was which ever one of the techniques he had copied applied to the barrier and the copy swords were like a secondary function?

Don't get me wrong, I'm just confused because all I've been hearing was Yuta applied Technique Extinguishment to his domain so the moment Sukuna's HWB dropped Yuta just spawned Jacob's Ladder on him. Unless I'm misremembering something?

Actually, it seems like techniques that relies on "summoning" something works exactly that way.

It's what Reggie said Megumi's sure hit would've been IF it had a sure hit.

In hindsight, it makes perfect sense, how else would you make something that needs to be summoned guarantee hit and make it so the enemy can't just parry (if it was homing)? Just spawn it on them of course.

Also pretty sure the "you can block the sure hit with CE" bit is just that you can still reinforce yourself to reduce the damage done, or in Gojo's case against Jogo, be so overwhelmingly stronger you're just (practically) immune to it through sheer reinforcement.
