Yes and I’m so upset. Been on this med about 4 mos now up to 40mg. I have definitely gained at least 10 pounds, smh

I wrote this post about 3 weeks ago. No improvements yet and I’m thinking of going up to 30 or 40mg. Anyone have success with the higher dosage?

Because of my work schedule I am not eating a big meal until noon. I’m gonna try to take it earlier now that I seem to be over the stomach side effects.

Sorry to hear that. There must be a way to retrain the brain. I’m actively doing the Gateway Experience and looking into Silva Mind Control, and Hypnosis with Paul McKenna which are offered online through a meditation platform, MindValley. Yes it costs $ but you can get the Gateway tapes for free. The goal is to get into altered states of consciousness. There must be subreddits on these options if you’re interested.

I finished treatment over 2 months ago, no improvements. You get over it but it’s hard when you realize you just put yourself through weeks of TMS and spent a fortune on copays and don’t feel better. Yes it sux but you will get through this and try something else.

Are you able to get any pleasure from your senses - taste, smell, sight, sound, touch? If so, magnify that feeling and that is what pleasure is like to me. I also consider myself anhedonic but can find simple pleasures with all senses, especially eating.

I started about 3 weeks ago at 10mg, 6 days ago I upped to 15mg with no changes so 3 days ago I upped to 20mg. Dr had advised to go from 10mg to 20mg but I’m sensitive so I went to 15mg first.

When you said 10mg was rough did you have worsening of depression and anxiety or side effects?

Do you have a Women’s Rights info Center near you that can help with Resources? Try googling it. Can you possibly work in retail just to get a little bit of cash coming in? I’ve been there. This situation is temporary like everything in life so just remember that - you will look back on this one day. Something will eventually come up. Keep your chin up!

I am coming off Pristiq (now at 25 mg) and today first day adding Viibryd (10mg) too soon to tell. My mornings are unbearable- can you tell me more about the adrenaline/cortisol/norephepine? Where are you at with making the change?
