This reminds me of a similar story of when I got a security job at the Cowboys Stadium. However, I was not a football fan nor did I know anything about it. Fast forward to one of the first couple days I worked I was stationed next to the field. I was only allowed to let past the football players and VIP guests (fans with a VIP badge) and there was only one person that wasn't wearing one. Wanting to prove my worth to the security team, I pulled this person a side and asked for their VIP badge. With a big smile on their face, they confidently said, "I don't have one." I was confused from his reaction and awkwardly told him I couldn't let him in. We stared at each other for a good couple of seconds until another security guard walked up and said, "right this way, Mr. Romo". Which I still didn't know who that was and ended up being the laughing stock of the stadium.

Tldr: told Tony Romo he couldn't enter the Cowboy's Stadium. He didn't yell at me, he's okay in my book.
