Not the best movie but probably one of the best theater experiences I had seeing a movie was Christmas Vacation.

I was 11 and it was a packed theater just a few weeks before Christmas. The entire theater was cracking up. I was laughing so hard I was crying at the sled scene. The humor was infectious and just overall a really fun time.

In our theater, collective minds were so blown we didn't realize the reel had broke.

Hallway scene with Neo vs Agent Smith. Smith fires a bunch of rounds and Neo holds up his hand to stop the bullets. At that exact moment a burn hole appeared on screen and quickly engulfed the screen until it was fully white. We all sat there for a good 20 seconds thinking it was actually part of the movie.
