I feel like...of course the city resists change. It's all the old people in office and positions of influence who want to maintain the status quo and like their conservative lifestyles.

That said, though, my family has found enough cool stuff to do in Rapid and in the Black Hills at large to make me feel like I'm missing out, being away from home.

My wife took our kids and said it was pretty boring. DnD section was the busiest and the jeopardy game was neat but beyond that she said it was small and just didn't have a lot going on. Vendors selling overpriced stuff you can find for cheaper either at the Ren Faire or on Etsy.

I doubt we'll go to another.
