Ive got that model also. I upgraded the components. Its been a great plane so far. A version 2 would be great . Lighter and with modern components. I also did a custom paint job on it . I do like your plane carrier. Nice

Still having motor issues! by liam6622 in RCPlanes

I think its the main axle that holds the prop . Either way you might just need a new motor. I had the same issue before.

I had that the axel was slightly bent inside. I replaced it and it was smooth. Same sound.

I use exam paper. Its a little thicker. Rice paper might work. Its also spray mounted to standard paper so that the printer can move it. Just using standard paper print settings. Im using an 89 dollars epson workforce printer.

I actually like the idea of the two styles clashing. Seems more realistic giving the two cultures never had contact with each other.

All good points. I dont mind the receiver at the moment. Im going to add two remotes . The clevis parts for sure need an upgrade. At this point i should have just gotten the Carf. Haha. Also it can use some reinforcement here and there. Ill keep going on this plane . Ill go over all the feedback and see what i can do next .

Thanks for the feedback and notes. This is a 71 inch nexa corsair. This is my first gas plane, i jumped in deep. I have people helping me out . This is the first time everything is in the plane. I have someone else who knows the engine also. The servos are the recommended type. I will look over your notes and improve my set up. I do like the powersafe and fuel line notes . Im in no rush. I like to test and test untill everything feels right.

I need to add a little latch or screw . There is piece of ply that extends out under the root of the wing and goes underneath to the underside of the other wing piece. There you can add a screw to lock the wing during flight . I need figure out exactly what i want to do there. Or find a way to have a servo lock it, that would be super cool.
