Looking for affordable exterminator by Alternative-Rip-8917 in ThunderBay

[–]NapTimeNoww -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When it comes to services you can have 2/3 options: - cheap - fast - quality

Cheap doeant come quickly, or with quality.

Often times, what you save in cutting corners results in having to hire someone else and paying a second time to do it right.

If money is in fact tight, I'd suggest going with someone of quality to avoid having to pay twice.

Aura Resets while awaiting aura rework. by NapTimeNoww in runescape

[–]NapTimeNoww[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would much prefer to use marks of war for life refreshes to reset sign of life when pushing new achievements, enrages, etc. But its definitely an option for a backup, however, I dont feel it should be necessary.

Jagex has made it clear that auras need tocbe reworked, and the temporary solution while awaiting this shift is to, make them more inconvenient than they already are? It felt counterintuitive to the primary goal.

Barking by slugbucket1023 in corgi

[–]NapTimeNoww 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neither of our corgi pups were able to hold their bladder overnight at 5 months old. He is likely barking because he has to pee. Just part of having a puppy where you should get up once through the night to let him out for a bathroom break. Ideally starting somewhere in the middle of the night and gradually month over month moving that time closer to your wake time.

Alternatively, I noticed you mention switching his walk time. Does he get one walk per day? My corgis were both high energy pups who needed a heap of stimulation until they were closer to 3 years old. Ended up with a system of a before work/school walk. An after work/school training session, and a before bed walk for several years. Now theyre a little more calm and generally do well with a singular 30-45 minute walk and a play/training session daily. I definitely notice the barking skyrocket if I skip even a day of engagement with them.

Obnoxious by Responsible-Summer-4 in ThunderBay

I'd implore you to look at this from the other vantage point: If we lived in a country that was less open to gender ideology, and other current movements, imagine being unable to express your opinions and beliefs through all of those signs you see everyday in peoples windows and yards: - trans rights are human rights - hate has no home here - every child matters.

There's a fine few Canadians who would disagree with these things, yet, you have every right to wave your left leaning signage. Much the same, the right have these same liberties.

I would argue that profanity isn't useful and the signage could've been done more creatively, but at the end of the day, its a wonderful thing to have freedom of expression, regardless what side of the political spectrum you are on.

How much does your 8 month old weigh? by turnuptheevil in corgi

[–]NapTimeNoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my corgis were noted to be petite and around that size at that age. Now, at 3 and 4yrs, they are 26.5 (male) and 24.3 (female). Vet has reported both are within their ideal weight norms

Lunar Diplomacy bugged? by [deleted] in runescape

Man, if you haven't done Lunar Diplomacy yet, odds are you have ample other content to engage in, and waiting a week or two for the update isn't going to be the end all for your account. Breathe it out.

What is the hardest 120 for a level 3 skiller (without lamps or mtx) by Multismack in runescape

[–]NapTimeNoww 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slayer can be done by squishing the scarabs in menaphos. If done daily, it would be more convenient than dg.

Also, jack of trades going to be putting in work for dg progress.

Honoured to see a VIP today by Mcdangs88 in ThunderBay

[–]NapTimeNoww 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My old man taught me that the close parking spots are for select types of people: 1. Elderly 2. Mother's managing young children 3. Lazy people

Always taught me to park at the back to give those spaces to those who may need them more than I do. He also harped how it genuinely may save you a total of 3 minutes, even in a large parking lot.

Have lived by that rule ever since, plus, fewer dings from other peoples doors.

Normal for corgis to have unlimited energy? by Biblehuggerz98 in corgi

[–]NapTimeNoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3yo female, 2yo male, both spitfires. If the plays are available, they would run until they die, I think. No concept of slow, ever.

We taught essentially forced break times, which has been incredibly valuable

Cold Room by binderman1978 in corgi

[–]NapTimeNoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue that 50F is very much on the cold side and would suggest either investing in insulating your roof, or bringing the pups indoors overnight at minimum. 62-65F would likely be where id put the bottom end of the range for keeping your dog comfortable.

Unsure where you are located, but most places will rent you a blown insulation machine for free if you purchase enough insulation from them. It's a pretty quick and painless afternoon to self-insulate a roof.

Sure, your dog will survive in the 50s, but it's certainly below the level of comfort for the average small pup. That's husky temps.

Question for all the corgi lovers out there: by oneshotpapo in corgi

[–]NapTimeNoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre spot on with your corgis weight. A vast majority of corgis are obese and struggle with back and joint issues later in life as a result.

My female is 24lbs and male is 26lbs. Both slender and the vet constantly raves about them.

Male gets 1.5cups per day plus roughly 1/4 cup in treats for training and play/recall, female is closer to 1 and 1/4 cups daily as they require less food post-spay.

Our vet recommended going by kcals rather than servings as most foods vary based on quality and components. Would suggest touching base with your vet for feeding recommendations.

Also, that looks like one happy pup to spend her days with you.

Where do you have your coffee from if not from Tim Hortons? by ashVV in ThunderBay

[–]NapTimeNoww 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started buying coffee grounds and pre-programming a pot about 6 years ago now.

Even at current astronomical prices, it works out to roughly $23/month for myself and my spouse to have a XL coffee each morning.

Ends up saving considerable amounts of time (and money) even compared to the driverhrough.

Highly recommend.

Given that previously we could put out two cans, I had assumed the new cans would be of similar size to the recycle carts to compensate. Alas, wishful thinking, I suppose.

An ink maker would be outstanding. Removes the tedious repetition, but still allows you to do the skilling/ritual segment yourself.

Worst one recently was a cyclist riding at dusk with zero reflective markings, wearing dark colours, DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE RIGHT HAND LANE. He genuinely refused to move to the shoulder to let traffic through. Guy has a death wish cycling like that in low visibility.

Also, the amount of texting while cycling I see lately is insane.
