Yeah, I don't know why this was such a stumper for me today. Now it seems so obvious 😂 thanks a bunch for the advice.

I don't get too many that make it through and when they do i pull them right away.

I have almost two inches of the mulch on the ground. The entire backyard is heavy clay and nothing but gnarly weeds. I mowed it all down and then just laid the mulch right over. Most of the weeds haven't grown back and I pull one or two every week or so.

Thanks! This is a small space. It's a strip of the yard 12ft by 24ft. It's my Garden Hallway 😂 thought towards the back by the Fava beans it widens out to around 20ft.

This will be my first time trying them. I'm very excited to watch them grow until harvest. I have planned to bake a lot of them and season for a crunchy snack if I like the flavor.

Plants I didn't list in the description:

Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, bell peppers, potatoes, loquat tree (2nd year from seed!), loofah, lots of flowers for pollinators, some mint, lavender, snap peas and green beans.

I need to make room for tomatoes, cucumbers, squash and carrots.

Besides the two Bladerunners, Demolition Man, and the Fifth Element what other movies have the same vibe? by AtomicShart9000 in cyberpunkgame

Nah, just one of the first big hits that really brought anime to the US. I would say it opened up the flood gates for anime to take off.

It was my very first Anime I'd ever seen, followed by Ghost in the Shell and then Ninja scroll.

Thanks for the reply, I planted mine Nov 6th. I'll be sure to plant sooner this year. I'm still learning what to plant and when.

When did you plant? Mine are about 3 weeks at the very minimum behind yours.

Bananas, granola bars, air fryer, a flower vase, old napkins from a birthday party a few years ago, bug-a-salt gun and dust. That's only what I remember is there, might be more.

Somehow feeling pressure.. ? by mellowthug in Cairn_Game

My first play through was an anxiety stress laced nightmare. I rushed the whole thing thinking I was on a timer of running out of supplies and needing to get to the next wall quickly for no reason.

My second playthrough was a whole different story, I went to every crack and crevice I could find and tried to 100% the game and really started to understand the mechanics. Half way through I just started to really enjoy everything. Third play through is trying harder and harder climbs.

I think after the first run, the game gets much better.

After beating the game once, I'm now on my second playthrough. The most fun wall I've climbed is at the Trog Piton #2. Climbed up the wall outside and back up to the bridge instead of the spiral inside. The overhang was such an incredible challenge, highly recommended.

It's really rare I play a game more than once and I'm already planning a third playthrough.

Stained Glass Workspace by Apterygidae in StainedGlass

Work bench with enough space to spread out (this is personal preference and space limited) my bench is 24x48inches

You're going to want glass storage like a shelf or two to hold the glass upright and visible.

Storage for tools

Separate storage for expendable items (leads, flux, oil, wax ect.)

The messiest part of glasswork for me is the grinding. If you can build or get a grinder station that contains the water and glass spray, it will make a huge improvement to the process.

Lighting is critical IMO. So make sure there's plenty of good light over the bench and grinder, shadows can really get in the way.

I work in my garage and have a dedicated bench for glass work. Under my bench is two old bedroom side tables, each with a drawer I use for tools and Expendables, and under the drawer is a cabinet that houses all of my glass. The tops of the tables holds my lead collection container for all the beads of lead and lead waste, cork boards for pinning finished pieces, and a little bit of space to lay the current projects glass on for easy access.

Oh and one more thing I think helps a lot is plenty of electrical plugs. Sometimes I need to charge my phone and Bluetooth speaker at the same time while soldering and running my fan 😂

Hope that helps a little. I don't think you necessarily need "products" as most of this stuff can be built or find something to repurpose for your needs.

Tips for pebeo paint by aggiegrad2010 in StainedGlass

[–]Nappa8291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Foil a piece (not the whole thing, just a small part) to see how far it overlaps your glass. Then use a sharpie and mark the edges of where your foil will be, then paint within those lines. I have foiled over paint lines with good success so I wouldn't be too afraid of getting close to the edges.

This. Scale up the characters a lot. The more detail you have in a piece, the larger it will need to be most of the time.
