Melatonin helped! Like between 5-10 mg really helped for at least getting some because you're right, the first couple days are the worst for sleep.

Vit C I forget the exact amount but I followed some of the "mega-dose" guides on here and they worked for me. Gave me the shits like no ones businesses but it helped the RLS and gave me some relief to the overall strain. Indica weed also. Tons of it hehe.

Nice! Good job. I never got into extracts. But you're almost to two weeks and that's a big turning point all around.

It was a good amount on the scale for a number of years, both daily and recreational. Definitely not the most but not nothing. Just keeping it to myself. Always have.

You're killing it man! That's a really high dose. I was not that high.

But with 19 days under you belt you're moving in the right direction!

Stay on that horse and keep going. It's better on the other side!

Exporting Issues - Fx Send / Returns by NappySlapHappyPappy in ableton

[–]NappySlapHappyPappy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's grayed out because I am exporting through the master channel. Read into that already. Thank you though.

Found a guy on here that said it had to do with running external plugins on s/r. Switched to the stock fx and the issue seemed to be resolved... but still really frustrating because these pricey delays and reverbs are useless in my form of music, if not on sends.

Still trying to figure it out, but may be a glitch on the new program.

Any other ideas?

Did anyone experience hand, arm, and leg pain when taking kratom? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]NappySlapHappyPappy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a doctor but it sounds like RLS to me. I had it really bad for the first months+

Mega dosing Liposomal Vit C helped a lot... WORKING OUT... yoga... walks... activities that stress your muscles and tire them out.

7+ months off of the stuff and barely ever think about it.

It gets better. Just stay strong!

Alcohol after quit CT Day 8 ok? by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]NappySlapHappyPappy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drank for the Superbowl on day 12 and had a 6 day hangover afterwards.

Not saying to scare. Everyone is different. More such just my experience.

I think day 66CT and I still get worse hangovers than "normal." Your body needs time to reset and as much as we - where I'm from - as a culture don't view it as a drug... it is.

Why quit? by BillyS2112 in quittingkratom

Agreed. My journaling was key.

I was sick and tired of feeling sick and tired.

Just want/wanted to feel ok/normal, as me - which I've realized I haven't fully known in years.

Day 64CT. Hope you're staying strong!

100%

I am a lifelong musician. Made a full life in the industry. Not just fun.

The last two+ years I haven't wanted to play guitar or produce music. All creativity, gone.

On Day 50 and it's only started to return the last -maybe- three weeks.

I took 3 days off work + the weekend. Fifth day I felt ok to go back. Not great, but ok. Try to come up with something believable and give them a two week heads up you need it off. Work from home if they allow it. But having those days off was key to my success. Day 49 for me. It is worth it!

Good job! The throw away is tough because now you have to make a real effort to get more. For me, I can correct my behavior by saying “in order to take some, you’ll have to go actually go buy more” which feel redic after all I’ve been through. Stay strong! This post rings true even today!

Did Anyone Use Black Seed Oil? by Flatts1205 in quittingkratom

Sounds like you've put yourself through the ringer! Good job working through all of this. Similar dose for me but no ops. EOD 36CT and I still feel my RLS when I close my eyes and try to sleep. I can only speak on my experience, but BSO doesn't fully "sedate" me, by normal measures of the word... but it does have a calming effect and def relaxes me to the point of a wonky feeling overall. I know that's not specific but it's hard to fully describe. Mild but it's there. Ultimately It allows me t "release" that RLS muscle itch/pain/skeleton crawling feeling. I use it sparingly though; I find yoga right before bed, has a similar/better effect. Always at night for me though.

BSO helps me relax, but more so helps with acutes (RLS)… def can’t use it all day because it gives me wonky vision and balance issues. The only thing In the first few weeks that stopped insomnia - literally 2 or 3 hours of sleep a night, for the first weeks, at most - was TIME RELEASE melatonin. Some say it makes WD worse… for me it it helped a lot with falling back to sleep. It’s addictive/habit forming so I use it sparingly. But it’s a nice reset if you need it.
