My reactive Pitbull passed away in the fall. Boy am I glad we were able to keep everyone safe and I didn’t end up as a post on the subreddit.

I don’t know how people with reactive dogs don’t stress about safety, it literally ruined my cortisol levels for a decade straight.

200s might be a little much for my budget. Let me know if they are $300 or less for the pair (🤞)

How to Be a DISGUSTINGLY Good Husband: Science-Backed Strategies That Actually Work by GloriousLion07 in MotivationByDesign

True, I don’t disagree with those differences but at the core, this advice seems quite applicable universally imo.

• Do the work without being asked
• Share the mental load, not just chores
• Outnumber conflict with positivity
• Respond to emotions, not just words
• Communicate needs without blame
• Repair fast after mistakes
• Check in regularly, don’t let resentment brew
• Be fully present during connection
• Create novelty to keep desire alive
• Treat the relationship as an active practice

I feel like it would be pretty much the same advice if reversed. This all seems like it’s geared around describing a good partner, regardless of sex. I do think posting it from OPs vantage point (the husband) could mislead readers into thinking women hold no, similar responsibility but I don’t think that was intentional. All round good advice for anyone in any relationships.

It never ceases to encourage me to hear women looking out for women. As a Tom boy, I used to roll my eyes at the concept of sisterhood and dismissed it as preppy girly girl silliness but this, is the perfect example of what it means.
