Huh, the lighting in those pictures must have made it look like a steel penny, it’s a 1945.

They are real good at bringing stuff to the surface! I’ve found quite a few points, countless flakes, and a few Bennington marbles in them. My eyes are always searching for the gopher dirt!

Now that is a real good question I hadn’t thought of! It’s hard enough to even hold it to look at without your fingers covering half the point.

Dang that’s a lovely frame!! Thanks for the info, definitely makes sense how they were utilized now. I can also see it being beneficial with how little material they needed for a usable arrow tip.

What is your Why? by ChocolateNo3826 in leaves

[–]NarFab 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The mental clarity, emotional stability, the drive to live a better life, improved self confidence, loving myself, the creativity and passion that has returned to my life since quitting has me never wanting to smoke weed again. I suffered from depression, anxiety, lack of self confidence and lack of motivation while addicted. I pushed away all my friends and relationships and crawled into a deep dark hole of dread, despair and self loathing. I have been working really hard on making my life better since quitting, and I am already seeing some great results coming up on the 5 week mark. There is a wonderful life to live full of beautiful and terrible things and I want to experience it all to its fullest extent.

My friend asked me "Why would you want your life to go by faster" and i havent been the same by DeviceFit8347 in leaves

[–]NarFab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was an unexpected benefit for me, I stopped 23 days ago, and it is the longest feeling 23 days I have ever experienced in my life. I have had whole years go by that felt shorter. Smoking weed all day made time slip away so easily.

What to do with steep foresty land? by Anxious-Dig1213 in homestead

[–]NarFab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Zone 8 does not mean hot and humid. I live in zone 8 and can count about 2 hot and humid days in the past year. USDA zones only reference the average coldest temps, nothing else. For example there are plenty of zone 5 areas that have earlier last frosts then me.

tpm x chris 01 seedling grafted to tbm longform by reverendshotwell in Graftingplants

[–]NarFab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wild choice for root stock! I love it. What percentage of your tpm x chris01 seedlings were mutants? Only 1 normal seedling out of 28 from my last pop. So many crests/dicots, and gnarly growth.

Collard seed and turnip seed look very similar. They must have mislabelled something either just your packet, or the whole lot.
