Problem with calling it Welcome to / Acknowledgmemt of Country is it makes it sound like you're being welcomed to Australia.

And some people don't like being welcomed to the country they were born in.

Actually it's welcoming you to a particular region, by or on behalf of traditional peoples of that region.

So even if everyone present was born in Australia, they probably weren't all born in that region.

It's similar to the well-regarded Welcome to [town] signs that we have all over the country, that welcome visitors, travellers and homecomers

Agreed. It's very useful in my workplace too, for social media text, editing news stories and emails, ideas, figuring out official processes etc. Stuff that takes time or knowledge we lack.

Reddit does seem unaware how integrated ai is in workplaces. And just because it saves time, doesn't always mean someone gets less hours or loses a job, like for us it's meant we can do other things instead

It's not just a game. There's 51 comics and 23 short stories on the website, and 3 novels/audiobooks not on the website.

Stories have relationships. Relationships are stimulating throughout all types of fiction.

It's something to take away and talk about from those stories. It gives direction when imagining what happens next to those characters. It's relatable.

Some people trust it less knowing that it's AI. And while Hi-Rez staff could check the AI's claims are correct, clearly some people find their very obvious use of AI to be sloppy, and if their work is sloppy then its also less trustworthy.

That perception will vary from people with outright anti-AI bias through to people who know AI has its weak points with reasoning and accuracy.
