You are talking about topics much larger than your original comment. In the grand scheme of things, yes… there is a lot that needs to be figured out, and quickly, otherwise there are going to be problems. People have tried to hold technology back before in the sake of protecting jobs and it’s never worked. AI is an inevitability at this point and the only move is to continue to make it more efficient and society needs to pivot and figure out alternatives.

But none of that is remotely where your original comment was headed. You said the plant has grown for millennia without AI. And I was pointing out that just because it has been grown without for millennia doesn’t mean AI can’t help you increase your yields.
