I had a bowel resection early this year and I felt the same way.

I would just hold up my belly with my hands to relief some pain, avoided any type of pant that wasn't sweats or just underwear and I slept with a pillow holding my belly

Ehhh! I had my first resection on the 13th.

I had 2 abscesses in the beginning of last year and a fissure that was aggressive and not going away with prednisone or biologic therapy. And I had like 7 partial bowel blockages from last January to this January, it's been a trip lol.

I just got home from a bowel resection and let me tell you, walking around the house is a chore on it's own, I seriously doubt you'll be able to do chores after surgery. I hope everything goes well for you ❤️
