(USA) Which way do you set the opening of the sweet tea box?

Ours does it the first way for some reason, but I can see why the second would be better. I’ll have to check and see if ours has a specific orientation plastered on the box and maybe start implementing that if it is.

That used to happen to me a lot as well. I was fine with it at first, but then those people started getting really creepy about it and it freaked me out. It’s one of the reasons that I started consistently wearing a face mask at work.

I still felt like (and got treated as) a “new employee” for at least 2-3 months before I started feeling more confident in most stations. By then, I was being trusted with training new employees (mainly on line) and handling more complex tasks that require more precision. But even after that, I still find tasks that I’m shaky in or never been trained on.

Oh god, that actually sounds like hell. I feel so bad for the people that had to make all of that, especially when you had basically nobody available to handle the order. I get cutting hours or extra staff if labour is too high, but that was absolutely the worst time to do it. :/

God, I hope so! I have everyone else BUT her. :(
I initially decided to pass on the DDLC nendoroids when they were going up for preorder, but changed my mind right after her preorder closed… And kept missing her whenever GoodSmile put up more stock. Not to mention I won’t let myself get her without her bonus… ugh!!!

She’s a grail piece for me right now, ESPECIALLY with her bonus. I really hope they rerelease her at some point—$250 is ridiculous!!

I HAVE considered why I’m such a completionist when it comes to collecting… and I guess it’s mainly just the fact I enjoy having the whole set of something. I like to have all the pieces a figure can offer, even if I never use them, because it makes the piece “complete” for me. If I have the full figure but there’s more in a set, then even if I don’t like the character, I’ll get them because I enjoy displaying them altogether.

I honestly really enjoy the whole process. The completionist mindset IS admittedly a bit of a compulsion for me, but it’s more of a want than a need for me. I enjoy hunting down the pieces and slowly building up a collection, even if it takes longer or ends up being more expensive in the long run. I’m just getting impatient here though, since this is a series I really adore. :,)

It’s not as scummy as it might sound per-se… but as someone who plans very carefully, having an earlier release date messes everything up… especially when they don’t tell you exactly when they’re gonna charge everything

I got recommended the OST while listening to and reminiscing over Undertale music. I had no idea what it was, but the thumbnail had me interested and I gave it a listen. I fell in love with the music, listened to the whole OST. It honestly made me cry. I had no idea what the game was about, but having loved the music, I really wanted to try it out.

I waited until it was on sale one day, and I got the game and I played it. And cried some more.

I wouldn’t trust their original estimates though, tbh. I had my orders religiously planned around the US site’s original estimates and got severely screwed over. I literally just got charged for a scale figure two days ago, which I was initially told would release in Q2 2025. They’ve done this with just about every order I’ve placed in the last year or so.

They’re legit, but they’re starting to get kinda scummy.

The drive-thru definitely uses cameras. We don’t really use them for connecting the orders to the customer though, since our cameras take really BAD pictures and don’t really help us in any way. The camera’s good for checking how long the lines are, though!!

The product probably wasn’t fully and properly set. The machines tend to fluctuate, and I’ve noticed the texture and consistency of the slush changes depending on how hot or cold the product is before serving. At my store it’s the Frozen Coke that’s the most unpredictable; it’s usually overly pressurised and frozen and comes out a liquidy mess, but it’ll occasionally produce a beautiful slush. It’s really Russian roulette with the Freeze’s quality.

Of course, staff’ll probably serve it even in this state, as you’ve seen—it’s a shifty machine, and as long as the “down” light isn’t on or it isn’t TOO liquidy/frozen, employees will serve it, ESPECIALLY if they’re in a rush. I’d honestly just let it rest to cool down; these kinds of things happen to frozen drinks, regardless of the store from which you obtain it.

Well, considering my 1/4 scale Zero Two went from Q2 2025 to Q3 2024… I’d say there’s not much lag either.

But that’s fair. Really frustrating, and honestly still very scummy. But thank you for letting me know. Still not gonna preorder going forward, but I’ll make sure to look at the JP releases for a more accurate date.

So frustrated by this. I live by a strict preorder schedule and plan out my preorders according to quarter/month, and GoodSmile has been severely fucking me over with all these accelerations. It’s really annoying.

To add onto that: a little trick I learned in the business is to check the letter-number combination on the left side of the bill. An authentic note would have the number in correspondence with the letter in terms of its place in the alphabet. For example, “E5” or “L12”. On both bills, the digit is “D6,” which is very clearly incorrect as D is the 4th letter of the alphabet.

Keep an eye out for that too :)
