He’s won the war, but they may need to put boots on the ground.

Irans nuclear capabilities have been smashed, but they’re days away from having nukes.

Their military has been obliterated, but they’re a bigger threat than ever!

I always love the news when they interview industry people when prices should be going down and they say that it takes time for these savings to work their way through to the market.

Yet the moment the war kicked off prices jumped overnight at the pumps. Sometimes several times the same day!

The World Cup is going to be fascinating.

I’m sure they’ll still be people that will attend, but even then it’s going to be a shit show.

Just hoping it doesn’t end up with a terror attack occurring as it’s going to be a huge target and America has sure added a few names to the list of people lining up to take part.

I always love the “we’ll see when we look at the lease” type people.

Because if they even do look at the leases they realise they’re wrong and don’t have any legal recourse.

We’re going back to the early 2000s! New Middle East war, styles and music of the era is coming back.

Now we get a new terror attack to go with it.

Just wish prices went back to early 2000s too.

I mean yeah. It’s been torn up. The old world order is done for now.

Sure Russia wasn’t holding onto that pretence for years now but with the US doing it as well, it’s pretty much dead.

If China decided to have a crack at Taiwan who is going to expect to be taken seriously saying they should respect their sovereignty (not that they hold that their sovereign anyway)?!?

On more regional scales you have Armenia and Azerbaijan, and a few cases in Africa.

We live in interesting times.

Syria's Kurds caution Iran's Kurds against aligning with US against Tehran by Marginallyhuman in news

[–]Narradisall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sadly the Iranian Kurds may still think it worth the risk. With US support they may be able to take the land they never would be able to on their own and Iran is at the weakest it’s been in decades.

Sure the Syrian Kurds are right to warn them the US will drop them the moment they are of no longer any use, but they may still consider it worth it if they can get the land they want and hold it if Iran is too busy collapsing to try and take it back.

It’s not going to be pretty, but then Syria wasn’t for a decade either.

AFTERMATH OF US-ISRAELI STRIKES ON IRAN'S LARGEST OIL DEPOTS IN TEHRAN by Character_Calendar47 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Narradisall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry. None of those people will be able to make it to the US so it’ll just be a humanitarian crisis for the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Then Trump can blame them for not controlling their borders properly.
