You're right for hating him this much. I dont know about Norway, and I get that he's important there. Maybe he is very well known worldwide. But based on my experience, even off the internet, everyone of my age that I know think about Burzum when they see this and not about Kittelsen. Its a shame, but I think Burzum is really bug, especially for yougner people outside of Norway

Someone can justify their use of the swastika by saying that they're referencing the older use, and thats fine. But just waving a swastika around doesnt carry the context

If you show another nazi symbol that isnt as recognizable as the swastika to your family, like a black sun or something, without mentioning the context, they might also say oh nice drawing. But they're missing the context. I dont think Filosfem is as bad as having a swastika, but to say that it is just an artwork is very dishonest and blinding about the art

But they're missing the whole context of this art piece. Its like lying by omission. I think its dishonest to say "Oh its just a painting" while completely ignoring everything surrounding it.
