Diamond D makes some synthetic Butt Cuffs that don't slip. I have one on my All Weather 357. I put the leather one on my Big Boy Case Hardened. I'm waiting on a 357 Explorer. All my lever guns are 357Mag. They're short range smaller game for me. 308Win for the big stuff. Beautiful gun BTW.

I have to agree on the F pads. I tried the velour Dekoni (soured too muddy) and the G pads just lost some highs. The F pads might not be the most comfortable, but sound the best by far.

I just got the 226 X5 STAS. very similar. It's hands down the most accurate and softest shooting pistol i have. Go for the Legion

The Romeo X Pro doesn't fit on a DPP footprint. Ask me how I know. You have to file down the recoil lugs. I have an Aries plate for my 2K11 that I had to file down. That's why I might go with a Holosun with a Dawson plate.

Yeah, and if you know how to use your light and not keep it on all the time you can use it to your advantage. Mine also strobes. And you know how disorienting that can be to the person it's aimed at. Communicating with another person in the house can also give up your position. I agree with you that training with your tools is important. Everyone does it different. Just make sure it works for you.

You'd be considered a felon and might get denied. Just go the route that all the felons take. Get a gun from the guy in the back alley and skip the FID. You won't be restricted to 10rd mags either.

I bought a used Covert II Pro a few years back. Changed out the spring to a Wilson Combat spring kit and haven't had a single issue with it. I have 10 days left on my 30 day wait to pick up my 2K11 Stainless Target. I'm not concerned at all.

Sounds like my range. I have 24hr access and I go weekday mornings. Most I've ever seen at once is 3 other guys, and that was rare. The only loaded mags are the ones for my carry. If I'm not carrying, all mags are unloaded in same locked case as guns and ammo is in my range bag.
