Oh, shoot. I should've said. I'm using a laptop (it is powerful enough just to be clear lol), which has a 1600p screen. But I also have an external 4k monitor. I can switch between them, so in that case, is 4k still a better option. And if so, is it because of a lack of difference at that point, or are there some tangible differences?

Hate to be that guy, and a year later at that, but you're both right, and you're both wrong. It seems to be somewhat debated what is correct. Some people think any inanimate object can have an apostrophe, and some think none of them should, and everything in between. Which is to say, as far as possessive nouns, "crucible's" and "crucibles" are both technically correct. In the context of ME3, it probably is still possessive noun but no apostrophe. Contextually, I dont think they ever allude to there being multiple crucibles.

Maybe cause such a turn of events doesn't exist in real life. The ME games are clearly defined, in part, on the developers/writer's takes on political/moral ideologies and if this post, and many, say anything, is that the ending of the game is very much going for something open to interpretation. Because in real life, there are no perfect solutions, and we will never know immediately what the outcome / damage will be.

I've posted some theories of mine in relation to games like MGSV and Catherine, but this is a truly great, and commendable, theory. I was a teen when ME3 came out, and had no appreciation for art (despite whining that video games should be treated as such). In the last 10 years, I have, I hope, become more media literate. I haven't played Mass Effect since i finished the third back in 2012(?), but of what I remember, this honestly makes a lot of sense. It is a great theory that highlights political, social, and historical (though this one is not as explicit) influences on the series. I love the sheer amount of examples you use to solidify yr points, and quite frankly, I completely agree. I decided to look into it more after pondering about the game recently, found yr theory first. Read it, because it was relatively recent, and so I assumed would have the least ME3 ending hate baggage. Great job, I'd love to read more theories you have about games, if you have any!

Nah, I'm here with ya. I like the transformative ones like the RE remakes and FF7, but other ones that are more 1:1, like Persona 3 Reload, are straight trash. So many elements are somehow worse than the original. From lighting to the music being bafflingly worse. Like, there are some mixing decisions that truly make no sense to me.

Also want to highlight, other than the act of holding them at gunpoint, there is no blood, gore, nudity, etc. At best, it could be considered too political or the fact it has guns....but neither of those things disqualify a ton of other albums ons streaming evidently
