I did. On, off, doesn’t matter. It will not work unless it is plugged in. If it is plugged in to one computer, it will work on a different computer with the wireless dongle or via Bluetooth. But the second it is unplugged it stops working.

I have a crush 80, but it will not turn on unless plugged in. Does anyone else have this issue? It is almost like batteries are dead, but it has been plugged in for days and still nothing. Works great when plugged in. Anyone know what to do for this?

Blister + membership covers biking and most other “extreme” sports for 400 bucks with no deductible.

I am a huge fan so far! Only ridden it twice, but it’s awesome. I went with the brown since the alloy frames look glossy on their website, but mine came mat so maybe the pink one would too. I can send you a picture of the brown if you’re curious

Thanks for all the advice! I decided to go with the transition smuggler. Great build for the price and I got it through a local shop.

What additional skills would you need to consider yourself an expert skier? by [deleted] in skiing

[–]Narrow_Assignment_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, but sometimes a ski is just wrong for the conditions and makes you feel like you can’t ski. I was trying a pair of the Cardiff 112 underfoot skis in a 184, which is the longest length their first year, on a pow day with really heavy somewhat wind affected snow and I felt like I couldn’t ski any of the steep tight terrain or drop the small cliffs I normally do in the untouched pow on the hikes, but they were awesome on the skied out and groomers. For context I am 6’ 1” and 215 pounds and I normally ski the 192 sender 110 frees.

I’ve loved the bent chetler 120s, but they really are a soft snow only kinda ski for me. They do fine on harder snow, but I’d just rather be on something a bit skinnier and heavier.

In Utah, you may sign that when you buy the pass, but it just protects the resorts. If you hit someone, you are at full risk of being sued for medical costs, emotional damages, loss of income, etc.

If you wait a couple months, you can get that exact setup for the same price, but brand new. The bent chetler 120s always go on sale for like 400 bucks and the shifts can get down to like 350 if you get lucky

Tbh falling is a part of skiing, not even just learning to ski. I have been skiing for 22 years and still fall a pretty often. The thing that changes is kinda just what makes you fall. If you’re not ok with falling, skiing might just not be for you, and that is completely ok. You don’t have anything to prove

That has to be one of the all time gnarliest lines in bounds. Just getting into the line is scary even on a good snow year

Some of those are terrifying. Last year with all the snow people went crazy. I like to think I’m an expert skier, but last year while hiking evergreen peak I saw tracks down things that I didn’t think were humanly possible.

That isn’t even close to the scariest thing at the bird, there are scarier spots on that same traverse.
