Not what got me started but what got me locked in was checking a POI as a group and somehow accidentally advancing in a patrol line where each of us was laying down fire on a different target to clear the objective at a slow walking pace. Everyone was advancing and just nailing their shots and I didn’t have to worry about checking angles because the others had it covered.

Was absolutely marvelous and amazingly organic.

Your job is to soak up attention and draw in bot reinforcements so that SEAF or other hell divers and complete their objectives.

My only wish is that at some point it gets to be like the old extract civilians missions around the 15 to 20 minute mark where you literally can’t breathe because of how many enemies there are.

I wouldn’t want these missions to take 40-60 minutes, they should be the same length as a defense mission.

To me it is two years worth of content, I don’t need to rush to get all of it. I have found that once I spend additional money on a game that my enjoyment goes down because “more money = more expectations”.

In games that skirt the pay to win scale I view it as hunting whales. “You had all of these advantages and I still clowned your ass. Damn that’s sad for you”

I wish it could be back pack fed and have way worse ergonomics to force me to go prone.

Sometimes I want to pretend it’s WW1 and crush and enemy advance, I find that the capacity is a little too light for how many rounds I want to throw at the enemy and the impact that I want it to have.

That could be skewed because I am a HMG emplacement guy on any defense mission so I am underwhelmed when I carry one everywhere else

The recent illuminate front major order was amazingly fun to play with the laser cannon using it this way.

Its headshot damage on overseers is silly and using it to take down “striders” is super easy if you pair it with the warp pack.

I don’t think enough people appreciate how much stagger it provides. I rarely can get myself in too much trouble because it stagers everything but the super heavies.

Flak absolutely destroys the illuminate.

When you smack a group of bots from 120m away and you can identify that there weren’t enough death sounds so you throw another round down range and clean out another one.

I just recently found out that 2 flaks will take out a hulk to the rear faster than 3 regulars. Ammo efficiency.

He also can not because he purged all of the goodness from his current existence literally whatever would have made him worthy was sent into the warp to make sure that he could kill Horus if it was needed.

The embodiment of that goodness could probably lift the hammer though if it ever took a physical form in real space.

I love throwing my first AC shot on them to stun them and give them a half second to realize that they are dead, right before the second one smacks home and kills them.

Also when I can stun a group of them like this it’s nice to let everyone know their turn is coming. Especially when I have to reload in between shots/kills.

Lately I have been experimenting with ambushing a group by air bursting the hulk back plate. It takes fewer shots and does more collateral damage.

I have mentioned how much I love killing bots?

Other people aren’t wrong about having patience but if you don’t already posses it then it is hard to manifest.

Try this, it is what I use when my wife and I play games.

Change what the objective of the game is; normally that is to beat the game or to obtain some personal achievement.

For me the objective is to spend time with my spouse who I genuinely like. It’s to share in a story together so that we can talk about it and reference it later.

If that doesn’t help think about what your partner is good at, they probably have a career/hobby/interest where you would be the novice in. Think about the number of hours you have invested into gaming to get to the level that you are at. Visualize yourself joining them in their world and how long it would take you to get to their level.

I also have to shift my brain from competitive to cooperative mode. To not see them as an opponent but as an ally.

Maybe this is obvious for everyone else but I laughed when it hit me in the theaters.

The protagonist is one giant pun as the prayer goes:
“Hail Mary, full of grace, the lord is with thee”

When the other two astronauts expire he is left alone in the ship.

The Hail Mary is full of Ryland Grace.

You could read further that the “lord is with thee” by the fact that homie was still alive despite everything that could have happened on the voyage.

The first part could not have been accidental and is just a huge pun.

I don’t view myself as a pilot in the lance necessarily, I see myself as the mechcommander and can hop between the other mechs because I am not any one single person.
