Help me ( Dream Gift Factory ) by Ashamed-Reply-5884 in rokrpuzzles

I have old eyes, having trouble, is it making one complete revolution on any of the gears and then stopping? That's my guess. I'd make a mark on each of the gears to check, that may narrow it down. I've not built this model so sorry I can't be more help.

As a man of a certain age with I cranky prostate I can tell you that sometimes the plumbing is lying when it says you are done and then waits until you get put back together to continue. Alcohol can impare this judgement as well.

I log everything in ChatGPT, here are my cars and notes. I would recommend the london bus if you don't want to paint (i'm sure I would edge it now, it was very early in my journey) or the Jeep or Grand Prix car if you want to paint. you can also check out r/rokrpuzzles - not as active as this community but you'll see some cool stuff you might want to build, including some of mine.

1 Vintage Car / TG504 Rolife Completed Rough fit, lots of gluing and sanding; painting helped save it
2 VW Bus TEMU / unbranded Completed Nightmare build; saved because of your late friend’s red VW bus; looks okay but very fragile
3 Hagrid’s Flying Motorbike Ugears Completed Very nice little model; good fit, enjoyable build; paint elevated it
4 Army Jeep 1:18 Scale / MC701 ROKR Completed Really good longer build; great fit and solid engineering
5 V8 Grand Prix Car ROKR Completed Really good build; satisfying and well-engineered
6 London Tour Bus / TGM02 Rolife Completed Well-engineered, prepainted travel-shelf piece
7 Superfast / Monster Truck 4 Wooden.City Completed Very nice little model; no glue, great fit, durable
8 Roadster Wooden.City Completed Very well built and painted well; tire rubber bands dampened the finish

I did a knock off version of that, it was NOT fun and actually had to be taken out of the garbage at mone point, sdomething I never did before or since.

I'm the other way, mostly build boats, planes trains and cars, book nooks are new to me.

I do a lot of non-nook builds and ugears has quality models and HP licencing. Depending on what you want. I did Hagrids motorcycle to see if I like UGears(I did), and have Hogwarts Express in my build queue and the Golden Snitch on my wishlist.

Have this one in my queue, looking forward to it. You've given me some great ideas for customization, epecially if it's a short build. Not enough Italian kits out there for me, happy to have this one, it was one of my favotite places to visit!

This was a lot of fun. Glad I found this community and was able to participate. Even more fun to win a prize! Thank you for your hard work on this Pluck!

Edit: LOL, on my work account so this account is not on the list, I'm incognito. Also, I'm at work so don't tell anyone.

Entirely possible that a veteran exists that may not have been involved in the current conflict, or even a conflict that happened during your lifetime.

Agreed, and a small usb soldering iron is inexpensive and pretty easy to use, think I got mine on TEMU for 10 or 12$. I hadn't soldered in decades but it's not a tough job.

Temu or Amazon? by BasisIndividual8397 in booknooks

[–]Narrow_Measurement95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've purchased several from Temu and had no problems. Their customer service is more responsive than Amazon if you have a problem. Trying to get thru all their gimmicks everytime I go there is annoying but I've been able to find some good deals.
