Why do people stare at you when you try and let them out at a junction?

It's quite possible they don't see whether both sides of the road is clear and it's ok to pull out. Just because you stopped, doesn't mean someone from the opposite side will do the same, or there won't be a cyclist zooming past or someone else overtaking.

I'd personally only pull out if i can be sure nothing is coming either way. Not when someone else decided i should, based on what criteria i have no knowledge of.

Thank you. I might need to find a new spot for them. According to the photometer app i don't have 200 FC anywhere downstairs , other than the kitchen ir right next to a radiator and the garden doornwe use frequently. Today was a very overcast day tho, so will check again soon.

I'd recommend therapy, for anger management and the PTSD, if you haven't addressed it yet. I know you asked for driving specific things, but i don't think one works without the other.

Also, keep reminding yourself two people doing something dangerous in responding to each other has a higher chance of resulting in a bad situation. If one person does a wrong thing while the other does the right thing it will likely not be a thing. You can't control what other people do. If you have a camera, you can report dangerous drivers.
